Sephiroth: *scowls in irritation* I don’t care what the situation is with my clone. He is inferior to me and an idiot. He planned this for himself, no matter what anyone says. *scowls as the cocktail waitress comes by again* No thank you. I didn’t even want the other ones. *growls as she sets the glass next to his others and buries his face in his hands*
Genesis: *Softly speaks* Is it really so hard to believe that someone would act out of anything more than self-gratification? *shakes his head then moves over to the area where Sephiroth’s drinks are. He then grabs one of them and begins to sip on it, partially to help Sephiroth by making the quantity of drinks diminish*
Sephiroth: *scowls and finally picks one of the drinks up, growling at the scent* It’s hard to think of it as anything else in this case because that is what it is – self gratification and bragging to those around him. He threw a party and that will place him higher on their social ladder. *snorts* It is so pathetic.
Genesis: *shakes his head* It is probably not so insidious. This sort of party is tradition, Sephiroth. *smirks* No, self-gratification is this: at least I know that I will always be better at one thing than you, hero. I can at least hold my liquor.
Sephiroth: Oh shut up. I’ve been tricked into that before and it is not going to happpen again. *glares heavily at him* What are you trying to acheive anyway> Are you planning to make me angry, so I will drink more, and in my attempt try to prove you wrong and fail? *glares even more then snorts and downs the entire cocktail glass in one gulp* Moron.
Genesis: *Smoothly responds* The thought never crossed my mind. *She then down the rest of his own drink before setting it down and crossing his arms*
Sephiroth: Oh I know it did. There is no other reason you would suggest such a thing. You are trying to make me drunk, just like everyone else here is. *scowls* It’s ridiculous…. how much are they paying you? Why are you even here? How come they haven’t kicked you out?
Genesis: *leans against the wall then sighs at Sephiroth* How much are they paying me? Are you really that paranoid. *chuckles and shakes his head* No, I’m not receiving any money and I have no affiliation with them. *he then taps his hood* I should hope that this is the reason why they haven’t paid much attention to me.
Sephiroth: The mere fact that I’m even talking to you will bring them over. They will want to see who is encouraging me. *snorts* I am not paranoid, but I know them well enough to predict this kind of behaviour. *glares at the rest of the partygoers*
Genesis: *shakes his head at Sephiroth* Perhaps some of them are like you say. However, a good number of them are aware of what you are and what you have done, Sephiroth. The fact that they are still around should mean something. *he then reaches out to take the last glass that Sephiroth had set aside* So, you are going to allow me to be better at you at one thing, hm?
Sephiroth: *very flatly* I have fallen for this trick before. The answer is no, Genesis. I am not going to bow into your taunt and cave like I did so many times before. The answer is no. *growls* Taunt me all you like, it is not going to work.
Genesis: *smirks then shrugs at Sephiroth. However, rather than responding, he just sips from the drink that he had taken*
Sephiroth: *makes a grumbling sound as he picks up the can of sugared alchohol drink and begins to slowly sip on it. Over the next hour or so, the cocktail waitress has passed by with five more, and because Sephiroth doesn’t know they contain alchohol, he becomes rather sleepy before too long*
Genesis: *remains at Sephiroth’s side for the most part, simply watching over the other man. He has drank a few of the drinks that came by, but more as a way to get rid of them than to get drunk. Upon noticing that Sephiroth is tired, he leans in to poke Sephiroth’s shoulder* Are you alright, hero?
Sephiroth: *makes an intelligable sound and keeps his head lowered, more interested in trying to sleep than anything else* Mmm…. *flicks a hand at Genesis, then tries to get comfortable again*
Genesis: *sighs* You’re really going to make me do this, aren’t you? *shakes his head* The things I do to repay a debt… *groaning, she moves to grasp onto Sephiroth’s upper right arm. He then tries to heft the man up and get him to lean against his side* You’re a boring drunk, hero.
Sephiroth: *clumsily rises to his feet, raising his head* Why does that woman have f…. feathers… on her butt…. *points at it and grins, then begins to softly laugh* She doesn’t know how stupid she looks… hah hah hah… *snorts* I want to go home….
Genesis: *Sighs at Sephiroth* I hope you realize that you are very lucky that Angeal is not alive to lecture all of us. *he insures that Sephiroth is stably leaning against him. Then, he heads out of the building, intending to take Sephiroth to his home. Since he has spied on Sephiroth several times, he knows where he is going*
Sephiroth: It’s dark… why is it dark…? Where are we going…? *smirks broadly, then lowers his head again, his muscles laxing* I want to go to sleep… let go of me. *tries to push him away suddenly*
Genesis: *clamly speaks* It’s dark because it’s nighttime, Sephiroth. *he then frowns as Sephiroth begins to struggle, so he lowers his arm to allow Sephiroth to roam free at the moment*
Sephiroth: *once free, he stumbles backwards. He continues to stumble backwards then collapses, falling onto the ground. He closes his eyes and tries to sleep in the position he fell into*
Genesis: *Groans at Sephiroth before leaning forward to grab his arm again. He then hefts Sephiroth to his feet, ignoring the man’s sleepiness* You can do that when you get home, hero. *he then returns to dragging Sephiroth, if needed, back to his home*
Sephiroth: *when he comes to the front door of the house, he sleepily looks at it, staring at the wooden frame* This isn’t my house… no. *tries to move away, then gives up and opens the door, slowly wandering inside*
Cancer: *is on the lounge and stares at Sephiroth* What happened to YOU?
Sephiroth: Nothing… *moves to the lounge and lies down to sleep*
Genesis: Oh, this is your home, alright, Sephiroth. *frowns as the man wanders forward. He then shakes his head* By the goddess… *groans and grabs onto Sephiroth once more* Do you remember where your bedroom is? The room you sleep with your woman..
