Desiree: *hisses at Sephiroth then notices that Kalysto is backing up. So, she quickly moves to stand in front of the elf in order to make herself a barrier between him and Sephiroth* Why should I believe you there? You have never approved of him. You even tried to kill him!
Sephiroth: *quietly sighs at her* Yes, I know what I tried to do. But listen to what I am trying to do now – does that not say anything to you? I am offering you and him shelter, and free accomadation. If you really want to move out after that point, you can make your own arrangements. Just put some thought into it and seek financial independance because you can’t spend your life stealing and riding off me to get what you need.
Desiree: *frowns with uncertainty. She then glances back toward Kalysto before returning her attention to Sephiroth* You’re not hurting him or saying that now.. But.. You always like things to go your way. *shakes her head* You never approved of me practicing magic or Kalysto. Why should I believe this..?
Sephiroth: I can’t give you a reason. Words alone in the immediate will not buy your trust either. I can only teleport you to the house and make you see the truth from there out. *grunts* And if I harm your friend, then by all means, depart and feel free to never return if you do not want to.
Desiree: *glances back at Kalysto once more then sighs* Very well, Father.. I’ll come to this “home”. But if you do hurt him again, I won’t ever forgive you. *she crosses her arms* ~Droozun, you might want to come here.~
Droozun: *hops down off the bed and patters across the floor, sitting at Desiree’s feet. He looks up at her and opens his maw, allowing his tongue to hang out as he grunts at her*
Sephiroth: *glances down at the demon, then shakes his head, refraining from comment* Very well. It seems we have come to an agreement. Gather up anything you wish to take and I shall teleport you now.
Desiree: *Shrugs* I don’t have anything that I need to take.. *she then looks over at Kalysto* ~I put all your stuff in sub-space. Was there anything else that you’d leave behind?~
Kalysto: *”No, not really. I have everything else that I need otherwise. I’m all good to get the fuck out of here.”* *finally finishes straightening his hair, then walks out of the bathroom. He stops in the door however, and hangs back to observe*
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto then looks at Sephiroth* Ok, Father. Take us to this new “home”. *Frowns and sighs* Just.. don’t turn back on your word. *She then steps to move beside Kalysto so that Sephiroth can’t easily leave the elf behind*
Sephiroth: *looks over at her for a moment before shaking his head* Relax. *moves to Desiree’s side and places one hand on her shoulder, the other on Kalysto. He then teleports both of them to the door of his house in Mideel. The transition would be less disorientating than when Desiree does it herself, due to the fact Sephy is more able to fine-tune the process*
Desiree: *momentarily tenses up as Sephiroth puts his hand on her shoulder. However, once they appear at Mideel, she just looks around and frowns* Umm… Where are we? I’ve never seen this place before. *she then spots the crevice in the distance* What the fuck happened there?
Sephiroth: *lightly nods to the house in front of them* Follow me. *opens the gate and walks into the garden, heading for the front door* This is a relatively large house. It was given to me by the Shinra, because I agreed to work for them. You are welcome to inspect it and choose out a room for yourselves. *opens the front door and is immediately confronted by Cancer, who is pounding on Zach because he stole the remote control to the TV*
Desiree: *stops as she spots Cancer. She then groans and mutters* Home sweet home. *snorting, she nudges Kalysto. She then goes in search of an unoccupied room* ~Tell me if you see one that you like, I suppose..~
Jenna: *had returned home with the crib a short while ago. She is currently working on shoving it into position in the room that she’s chosen out as the nursery* Damn heavy wood..
Sephiroth: *leaves Desiree to her own devices as he grabs the remote from the fighting clones, stuffing it into his pocket* Stop that. *snarls* Get up and change the station manually if you’re going to behave like that. *wanders in where Jenna is, watching her for a moment before moving in to attempt to help*
Jenna: *pauses when she spots Sephiroth at her side. She then grins at him and nods* Thank you. *she then motions to the crib* Do you approve. It seems to be good enough work for my tastes. Heh, not that I’m any expert on cribs.
Sephiroth: *picks up the crib easily and shifts it into position for her, glancing down at it as he admires the craftsmanship* It’s pretty decent. The humans actually did a good job on something here today. *crouches down to poke at the mattress* It’s good enough for my tastes also.
Jenna: Good.. *glances off to the side* I requested a second one since I doubt that the girl would be ready to sleep on a normal bed by the time the.. new one.. arrives. *sighing, she shakes her head* However, since there is no rush, I told them that waiting a few months would not bother me.
Sephiroth: *nods his head* It’s good enough for what it’s going to do. *leaves the room quickly, returning shortly afterwards with one very sleepy warm infant* Let’s see how she likes it, hmm? *sets the girl down into the crib, watching her reaction*
Iris: *doesn’t do very much other than curl up and try to resume sleeping, seeing as though her father disturbed her from it*
Jenna: *tilts her head as Sephiroth leaves. However, she remains patient and waits for him to return. Upon watching him set down Iris, she moves closer to observe the infant. She then shrugs* Seems to me like she doesn’t care either way. *chuckles* You’re lucky she didn’t wake up and start screaming.
Sephiroth: Strangely, she doesn’t even seem like the type to start screaming. She hasn’t really done any of that to date. *continues to peer down at the infant, then glances away, grunting* We don’t much suitable bedclothing for her, do we?
Jenna: We don’t have much suitable anything for anyone at the moment, Seph. *she shakes her head* Hrmph.. both our libraries are still buried under rubble.. All my weapons. *scowls* Considering what we have.. it’s enough.
Kalysto: *wanders away from Desiree to explore the rest of the house. When he comes upon Cancer and Zach trying to shove each other, he sends a telepathic signal back to Desireee* *”Your siblings, hmm? They don’t even look a year younger than you and they are behaving like five year olds.”*
Sephiroth: *sighs* Over time, I’m sure more will be salvaged…
Desiree: ~I suppose you can call those two my siblings. They are actually clones. They were artificially manufactured. But yes, they are rather… dumb.~ *She shrugs then grins as she spots a rather large unclaimed room* ~Hmm.. This room might work out for us~
Jenna: I know. I am solely saying that at the moment, we don’t have much of anything at all.
Sephiroth: *sighs* In time, in time… *glances up at the roof* We can’t stay here forever though. We’re being watched. You noticed that… *shakes his head* We need to go somewhere where we wouldn’t be watched or found.
Kalysto: *”Oh, really?”* *walks into the room, peering over at her* Yeah, seems spacious enough. This place doesn’t have a basement though does it?
Jenna: We were being watched at Halcyon too, based on what you told me. *Crosses her arms* It’s only been a day since you were hired, though… Hrmph, you have authority now, see what you can do to make it so that we are not watched.
Desiree: Why do you always ask me questions that I don’t know the answers to? Do you like hearing me say “I don’t know”? *She shakes her head* I’ve been here for as long as you have.
