Sephiroth: Just don’t strain your back. *teleports out of the area, reappearing within Wutai. He then heads for the inn as he senses Desiree there, and wanders inside, heading to her room. After a few moments of internal debate, he lightly knocks on the door*
Desiree: *is currently draping herself over Droozun and giving his head a nice massage, mostly so she can ignore the fact that Kalysto is sick in the bathroom. However, she pauses and looks up as she hears the knocking* What the fuck…?
Sephiroth: *stands back in the hallway, waiting for somebody to answer the door*
Kalysto: *coughs and spits up the remnants of vomit from his throat, before flushing the toilet again* Huh…? *pulls off some toilet paper to blow his nose with* Room service? Find out who it is…
Desiree: *Groans then sighs* Very well… Though I most certainly didn’t order any room service.. And I don’t think you have had a chance.. *she glances at Droozun* I’m also certain he can’t possibly do it. *shaking her head, she moves to the door. Upon opening it, she snarls and tries to slam it shut again*
Sephiroth: *very casually, but very quickly moves a hand in the doorway, gripping the edge of the door to stop it from being slammed* We’re going home. *grunts*
Desiree: Fuck off. *continues trying to close the door. After a moment, she leans against it and puts her entire weight against the door* I’m doing fine without “home”. We don’t even have a home anymore.
Sephiroth: *calmly* We have a new one. In Mideel. And I would really appreciate it if you could come along with us. Your other siblings miss you. *despite the weight Desiree shoves against the door, he is easily able to abuse his strength to hold it in place* I would also like you to be there.
Desiree: Like hell they miss me. I moved out from your living area a long time ago, Father. They never really bothered to come up to my room. *scowls* I am perfectly fine and happy living without you telling me what to do.. *she looks toward the bathroom, frowning* You just don’t want me to do what I like to do.
Sephiroth:” *grunts at her* I don’t want you to do what you would like to do without any rational thought into it. Right now you are only doing what you are doing because you wish to be disobedient and because you know that it would annoy me. *shakes his head* All I am doing is asking for you to come home until you can work out a better strategy. Is that so disagreeable?
Desiree: *narrows her eyes* You don’t know shit, do you father? This is not about being disobedient or pissing you off. Now, leave. *she tries to shove the door shut once more. She then gives up on it completely and tries to head to the bathroom so that she can check up on Kalysto*
Sephiroth: *narrows his eyes and lets the door go, walking back down the hallway* *”What am I supposed to do? She is never going to speak to me again if I leave her to her own devices. And yet if I take her home, she is going to despise me even more. So what am I supposed to do?”*
Jenna: ~Do what you think is best, Seph. I will support whatever decision you make… I will say one thing, though. If you drag her home, yes, she’s likely to be angry with you for quite some time, but you’ll at least have the availability to make amends with her being nearby. I also will say, don’t make her leave the one she has interest in.~
Desiree: *slowly opens up the bathroom door* How are you feeling? *tries to grin, though it’s clear that she’s still worked up over Seph’s appearance*
Sephiroth: *”I wasn’t going to leave the stupid elf behind – I’m not THAT stupid.”* *closes the door to the inn and sighs, shaking his head* *”What amends are there to make? She’s pissed at me because I allowed you to come back into my life. That’s the core of all of this.
Kalysto: *just sits on the tiled floor beside the toilet, leaning one arm against it* I’m fine, really. *seems amused, even if he is quite worn out from his ordeal* Give me about four hours to sleep and rehydrate and I can do that all over again. *nods at the door* Who was that? You don’t exactly say “fuck off” to the lady who comes into the room to turn down the beds.
Jenna: ~I meant for dragging her back home against her will, silly. She’ll be angry about that. However, it’ll probably be only short term..~ *softly sighs* ~Just bring the two of them here, Seph. I think we can all agree that will be best for her, hm?~
Desiree: *scowls at Kalysto’s question* Father. He was spying on me or something. I don’t know how he did it, but he found out I am here. Now, he’s trying to drag me away from you again.. *lowers her head* I don’t want him to hurt you ever again..
Kalysto: Hey. Relax. *shakes his head* I can hold my own in a fight. *flicks his ears back and begins to cough again, resisting the urge to gag as he moves to his feet once more* Damn it. *shuffles over to the sink so he can get a drink of water*
Sephiroth: *”I understand. But I cannot help but think there will never be any more to this than a truce. The young pleasant helpful young lady I once knew is gone.”*
Desiree: *shakes her head* No… He nearly killed you once. That was enough. *sighs at Kalysto’s coughing then uses her telekenetic powers to turn on the sink and “cup” some water to Kalysto’s mouth*
Jenna: ~I’m certain she’s still there. She’s a teenager at the moment though and needs to stabalize some things in her head.~ *sighs* ~Just bring her home already. You don’t really need to consult with me.~
Sephiroth: *sighs and slowly nods his head despite the fact she can’t see the movement* *”Alright. I will in a few moments.”* *puts his ear to the door, attempting to listen to what’s going on inside*
Kalysto: *seems a little weirded out by what Desiree is doing, but sips from the cup anyway* *”Unnecessary, but thank you.”*
Desiree: *Grins at him then chuckles* Perhaps so, but I still wanted to help you out. That’s what a person does when they care about another. *She moves closer to him and pats the top of his head*
Kalysto: *coughs a few more times, then tries to swat at the floating water so he can get it away from his face* Do you mind doing nothing for the day? Because I am totally cool with that. *rubs a hand through his hair and looks at himself in the mirror* Oh, god… *turns the tap on again, running cold water over his hands so he can run them through his hair and begin fixing it* Mmm… *pokes at his chin disapprovingly* Damn facial hair…
Sephiroth: *”Here’s the way I see it, Jen. Desiree is in a hotel – something she won’t be able to afford for very long. She has nowhere else to go. I am doing her a favor at least by offering free shelter. And she’ll probably be angry with me for teleporting her to the house… but she will be less mad if I offer both her and her stupid elf a room. Does it sound logical?”*
Jenna: *Groans out loud in frustration* ~Oh, for fuck’s sake. We both know you would feel better if she’s home again. Just get her and bring her home, and stop asking me for advice on the matter. It’s getting grating telling you the same things over and over again.~
Desiree: *lets the water fall to the ground as Kalysto tries to push it away. She then tilts her head as he examines his facial hair* Ah.. Well, I wouldn’t know much about that at all.. Even the men in my family don’t seem to grow much of that type of hair. I get the feeling that’s not normal, since my mother has commented on it from time to time to father.
Kalysto: *stares back at her* No, that’s not normal. If asked, what are the unique attributes of a dude, I guarantee you that the facial hair would either mentioned second, or third. Because the first choice is obvious. *goes back to looking at himself in the mirror, grinning* God, even with messed up hair and five o’clock shadow I still look damn good.
Sephiroth: Heh… *”Sorry, Jen. I guess I was just looking for confirmation about what I have already pretty-much decided on…”* *gently slips into the room. He attentively listens to the chatter, not wanting to startle either member of the room*
Desiree: *blinks, and tilts her head at Kalysto’s words* 5 o’clock shadow? But… it’s not 5 o’clock. And- *looks toward his shadow* -you don’t seem to be talking about that… *she shrugs* But yes, you do look good. *chuckles at him before reaching over to brush her hand through his strands of hair*
Jenna: ~I’ve said this a thousand times now, I support you and your decisions.~
Kalysto: *watches her in the mirror* Be cautious of doing that. I don’t think I threw up in my sleep, but I have before. And when I woke up again, it was partially dried in my hair. So yeah. Actually I think it’s soft right now. I washed it recently, so now it’s just damp.
Sephiroth: *stands at the door of the bathroom, just quietly waiting*
Desiree: I’ve dealt with worse than vomit in hair before. So, don’t worry about me. *she continues to gently brush her hand through his hair. She then does a passing glance toward the door before freezing up and snarling* Won’t you take “no” for an answer?? Ever??
Sephiroth: Do you? *smirks slightly at her* You are the same as I am. *moves into the bathroom, resting a hand on Desiree’s shoulder, his expression turning serious* I know we have our differences, but right now I want to consider your welfare. Can you at least stop and understand that for a moment? *nods at the elf* He does not have anywhere to go either, does he. There… *pauses, sighing* There is room at the new house. And if you really wish, I can have a double-bed set up for you in one of the bigger rooms on the ground floor. Would that be agreeable to you?
Kalysto: *stares at Sephiroth and subtly backs up, pulling his ears in toward his head*
