Kalysto: You know I’m still probably drunk to a degree, right…? *smirks at her* I mean, it probably isn’t gone from my system yet… I probably still smell bad too.
Sephiroth: *glares slightly* There is nothing wrong with the food I cook. It tastes good and it feeds us. I don’t know what the damn problem is otherwise… those children just can’t appreciate a good meal. They should try living on army rations and then they will know what bad food really is.
Desiree: Mmmm… I suppose you could be. But as long as you’re not causing any problems because of being still a bit drunk, I don’t see an issue with it. *grins at him* Though, I must insist that you do take a shower today. *pats Droozun’s snout* I’m certain your demon here would agree with that.
Jenna: *shrugs* It was merely a suggestion on something kind that you can do to help them settle in. I’m certain there’s still a number of them that are shooken up over how we were uprooted.
Kalysto: Poke around it’s face. It doesn’t have nostrils to smell with. That is probably for the best too, because Felhunters live in really bad environments sometimes… the place I got him from smelled of death and decay. *shrugs* Quite bad to some, but I don’t care much.
Sephiroth: Fine. I’ll not cook for them. *grunts* Some degree of normalcy would be nice to put back into their lives though. And one way by doing that is cooking for them.
Jenna: A single meal not cooked by you is not taking away normalcy, Seph. *She shakes her head* Why are you fighting so much for this? It’s not like you enjoy cooking. Heh.
Desiree: *rolls her eyes* I’m certain he has some sense of smell. And whether he can smell your or not does not change the fact that you reek at the moment. *yawns and leans back, probably resting on Droozun now, if he is curled about her. She then looks back at the TV, still trying to find any signs of news about that “star” that they saw land last night*
Sephiroth: I don’t really know. I just wanted to do something and I don’t see why it’s such a big deal. *finally moves off the bed, stretching before picking up some pants to put on* I am going to bring in the newspaper. Do you want anything?
Kalysto: Trust me, it really can’t smell anything. That’s not what it’s for… *moves over to grab one of the Felhunter’s stalks* See this? *pokes at the end of it* That’s pretty much the only connection it has with the world around it. Apart from it’s sense of touch. It doesn’t see. It doesn’t smell. It senses with these. *flicks it away again* That’s why they’re always raised.
Desiree: Ants smell with the antenna from their heads. So, I thought those things worked in a similar way. *crosses her arms* Does it really matter all that much? No matter whether you felhunter can smell you or not, you stink. *she then glances down at Droozun* ~You’re not going to help me on this, are you?~
Jenna: Do I want something? Hmm… You, here, next to me, naked, bottle of body oil next to you. Yep, that would do it. *broadly grins*
Droozun: *raises his head towards her and makes a grunting sound, shaking his head. He then puts his head down again, curling his tail around himself*
Kalysto: Kinda, but they’re like.. um. They sense the world around them. They feel energy with it. If that makes sense… *sighs* And yeah, I stink. However, I managed not to vomit on myself. I suppose you should give me some credit for that.
Sephiroth: *raises an eyebrow at her* I didn’t think you went for things like body oil.
Desiree: I prefer to give you credit for a lot more than that. *chuckles at him* You are rather intelligent and know a lot more than I do. You also seem to have much more life experience than me. Heh, guess you would be more than content to think of yourself as superior to me.
Jenna: If it gives me an excuse to rub my hands all over your body, sure. *Shrugs at him* Would you disagree with that?
Sephiroth: No… do you want me to abandon the paper so you can do that right now, actually? *stops at the doorway, glancing back at her* That would be nice… *smirks in amusement* Especially if you have nothing to do. I have no work commitments for a while yet.
Kalysto: Phh… *waves a hand at her dismissively* My life experiences are just different… you still have your mother. You still have your father.
Jenna: *points at Iris* We’d need to move her first… Hmm… Perhaps, grab the papers, threaten humans and get that crib, then get you naked? Thta can be a good gameplan for the day.
Desiree: And here I was trying to puff up your ego and pride. Man, what does it take to make you happy? *chuckles then frowns at the tv again* Something had to have happened last night…
Sephiroth: As long as it involves getting naked and intimacy. *glances over at Iris* Yes… she needs her own territory. Even if she is too young to understand the concept of something like that, she needs her own environment.
Kalysto: Something happened…? Why do you say that? *sits up properly, glancing at the TV*
Desiree: You saw that star fall to the planet as well as I did, Kalysto.. I don’t know what it was, but I know that I didn’t like what I felt form it. *she shakes her head* I just.. would feel much better if I could find anything about it.. I guess. But I don’t want to go and find it either. *shivers at the thought*
Jenna: Well then, get going, Seph. None of this is going to happen with you standing there in the doorway and commenting on this and that, now is it? *she gets to her feet then tries to shove Seph out of the room*
*just then, a report comes on the TV. It begins to talk about strange happenings in Midgar and increases of violence as well as theft. Then it begins to go into strange reports of increased rapings, and comments that Sephiroth, or Jenova is doing the rape-attacks*
Kalysto: No, I wouldn’t want to. If it was something huge and dangerous… *frowns at the thought* No thank you.
Sephiroth: *grunts* Right… so what am I doing first…?
Jenna: Well, I suppose the first thing that you kept on saying was getting this “paper” thing. So, go get it. Then, I’d say order some food for the children, they will be happy for such kindness. Then, we go and pick up that crib. And finally, we get you naked. *pokes him* But well before all of that, you need to start moving your legs.
Desiree: Mmmm… Yea, I wouldn’t want to face anything dangerous. *frowns as she notices the report on the television. She then shakes her head* That doesn’t sound good at all. I’m glad we didn’t stay there.
Kalysto: Huh, weird. I wonder what it was anyway. Some kind of…. *makes a motion with his hand, frowning* It wasn’t a demon, I would have known. No, it was physical and tangible… huh.. so weird. *flicks his ears back and begins to cough*
Sephiroth: It’s just a newspaper. They stuff it into our mailbox every morning. *glances back at her* What kind of food are we going to get for them to eat at this hour? It’s morning. There’s nothing I can order for them to eat, really.
Desiree: No, it wasn’t a demon. It felt like Jenova, but it wasn’t her either… As long as I never need to meet it, I don’t really care. *Frowns as Kalysto begins to cough* Are you alright? *she then reaches over to pat his back*
Jenna: I thought there was this thing called “breakfast” that you humans eat. *She shrugs, not really seeming to understand the problem* What does it matter. Whether you make it or not, they need food.
Sephiroth: Breakfast… I know. But you said to order food for the children for breakfast, and I am saying that nothing is really available TO order for them to eat. About the best thing I can do is buy something unhealthy that tastes good, and leave it for one of them to cook themselves. *shakes his head* This place is populated, but it’s not got that many businesses yet.
Kalysto: *turns his head away from her and continues to cough, seeming to be quite uncomfortable* *”I’m fine…”*
Jenna: I suggested that you get food for them that wasn’t prepared by you. However, if that is impossible, then just make them food. How hard can that be? *shakes her head* It really doesn’t matter much at all.
Desiree: You don’t sound fine. *she reaches over to grasp onto Kalysto’s shoulders and tries to pull him closer to her* What exactly did you do last night?
Kalysto: *”I drank nearly a whole bottle…. I think it was port. Think being the key word…”* *suddenly shoves her away and moves off the bed, running into the bathroom to be sick*
Sephiroth: I could always leave a box of cereal on the table and do nothing. *smirks* I am going to pick up the newspaper now. *wanders out of the room, heading down the stairs. He sighs as he notices that Cancer is asleep on the floor near the TV, then heads into the garden* *”You might wish to limit Cancer’s television viewing time.”* *sends her the fresh mental images from his mind as he walks to the end of the property to pick up the paper. He growls as he noticed somebody with a camera, who flashes a picture of him before running away*
Desiree: ~Umm.. I suppose now is a really bad time for me to say that I don’t know what port..~ *sighs as he rushes to the bathroom. She then shakes her head* Is there anything at all I can do to help you?
Jenna: ~I shall attempt to do such. However, I think we need to take what we can get from her for a bit. Just work slowly on getting her to behave with that thing.~ *she shakes her head*
*There would be an envelope in the mailbox along with the newspaper. This envelope contains a daily report from ShinRa, including documentations of the TURKs’ keeping tabs on Desiree in order to keep her safe*
Kalysto: *grips onto the toilet bowl with one hand, waving the other back at her while he heaves and continues to throw up* *”No, not really… this is just one of those things that has to settle.”*
Sephiroth: *eyes off the envelope, taking it out of the box after he tucks the newspaper under one arm. He opens it up and carefully reads, narrowing his eyes in confusion* *”Desiree? What the hell are you doing in Wutai?”*
Desiree: ~Ah… well, if you want me to get anything for you, just ask.~ *She then grins and turns her attention to Droozun* Your master is really dumb at times. *giggles and massages the top of the felhunter’s head. She then deeply frowns as Sephiroth contacts her* ~What are you doing knowing that??~
Kalysto: *coughs, dry retching a few times before grabbing some toilet paper to wipe his mouth off with* *”I’m fine…”* *crumples it up before tossing it into the toilet, flushing shortly afterwards* Just need to regain my bearings…
Droozun: *makes a singular grunt at Desiree’s words, then puts his head down, looking rather sad*
Sephiroth: *”Nevermind how I found out. I want to know why you are even there – it’s not somewhere you would go at all… you have been gone for two nights and you have not even seen our new house yet. I want to know why you are in Wutai of all places. It seems incredibly unusual for you.”*
Desiree: *Grits her teeth, quite irritated at her Father’s nagging at the moment* ~I’m here because I’m not there. Kalysto and I are just checking things out. What does it matter? Our home was destroyed. I might as well see what else is out here.~ *the massage that she was giving Droozun become rough as she gets angry at her father*
Droozun: *makes a rumbling noise and wiggles away from Desiree, nosing his way under the covers as he tries to get away from her now*
Sephiroth: *”Kalysto? You’re with that stupid elf?”* *growls slightly as he makes his way back inside* *”Your home is destroyed, but we have a new one in Mideel. Although you are legally old enough to be living away from home, you would never make ends meet as you are.”*
