Jenna: Three clean options there, Seph. Overdosing, drowning, or suffocation. *She then darkly chuckles* Imagine what the humans would think if they were overhearing us at the moment. *grins*
Desiree: I don’t even have a knife to do that with. So, I don’t think that you need to worry there. *she tries to lean up and peak over his shoulder* So.. where are we going?
Sephiroth: Hrmph.. *glances at Iris* I don’t particularly want her to remember something like that and have it etched into her mind as something she can bring up to a therapist sixteen to twenty years from now. *moves to sit on the floor below the line of the bed* Suffocate me if you want – it would take no longer than about three minutes at most.
Kalysto: I told you already – that trashed metal city. The big round one, that looks like it was made out of a giant pizza. I wanted to look at it before, but didn’t get to.
Jenna: Mmm.. *glances down at Iris, trying to make certain that the girl is asleep. Nodding with satisfaction, she looks over to Sephiroth* Alright, Seph. But try not to make too much noise. *With that, she narrows her eyes and concentrates on one of her more cruel spells. As soon as the spell activates, Seph’s lungs would be filled with water*
Desiree: Ah.. Isn’t that where the big dragon that raped you is living? I hoe we don’t encounter it… *she shakes her head* Well, go ahead, dragon. Fly us there. *she tries to gently kick the dragon’s sides*
Sephiroth: *immediately begins to react to the spellcasting, putting his head down, almost silent as he tries desperately to cough the water up from his lungs. Apart from the occaisonal sound he manages to make, he remains almost still despite his instinct to panic and cough. He remains down for a few minutes, trying to tolerate what is happening to him despite his level of suffering*
Iris: *continues to peacefully sleep on Jenna’s stomach, oblivious*
Kalysto: Yeah… that’s where the rape-dragon is. *flicks his ears back as he had almost forgotten about the incident* Thanks for reminding me.
Jenna: ~This will be over soon, Seph. I’m sorry that it has to hurt you so.~ *closes her eyes and waits for signs that Seph has stopped his struggling*
Desiree: I’m sorry, Kalysto. But I’m certain that neither of us want to meet that dragon. She continues trying to kick the dragon’s sides, wanting it to move on*
Sephiroth: *tries to numb down the level of panic in his telepathic signal as he replies to her* *”It’s fine, Jen. I asked for it… remember…?”* *soon goes limp as his brain is starved of oxygen. He remains like that for a few moments longer before finally passing away*
*the Nether Drake makes a pained squeaking noise when kicked and tries to sway it’s tail, wanting to smack Desiree with it*
Kalysto: *grunts as he feels the dragon moving erratically underneath him* Hey, what the hell is going on??
Jenna: *releases a soft sad sigh as Seph stops moving. She then closes her eyes, for she figures that she should at least sleep some more while Seph’s body revives*
Desiree: *yelps as the nether drake wiggles about under her. She tries to keep her grip on Kalysto, but with the wiggling and the fact that she’s not really on a saddle, she soon falls off the drake all together*
Kalysto: *cringes as Desiree falls off the Drake and quickly has it descend, attempting to grab her on the way down* *”Do something! Teleport, grab at me, fly, do whatever!”*
Sephiroth: *is quiet for another few minutes. Soon though, he sits up and begins to practically choke as he coughs violently, stumbling to his feet as he makes a break for the bathroom. Once in there, he continues to cough up the water from his lungs without hinderance, gagging a few times in the process*
Desiree: *originally whimpers as she looks down at the ground below. However, she soon uses her levitation abilities to halt her decent. When she spots Kalysto, she reaches out to grasp onto his hand*
Jenna: *doesn’t react for the time being. For now, she’s fallen back to sleep, so Seph’s gagging doesn’t bother her at all*
Kalysto: *glares hard at her as he attempts to haul her back onto his ride* What the hell were you playing at anyway! *growls* Don’t kick the dragon, it gets pissed at you. And if you’re in the middle of the air and he returns to the Nether, guess where you’re going. *shakes his head* Seriously, not advisable.
Sephiroth: *soon finishes with what he is doing and moves to the bed, lying down on it, sighing* Well that was unpleasant…
Desiree: *allows herself to be pulled back onto the dragon by Kalysto. However, this time, she winds up in Kalysto’s lap with her facing him* I’m sorry.. I just wanted to get moving already. *she frowns* I was being gentle…
Jenna: *a slight snore escapes her as she continues to sleep. Aside from that, she gives Seph no response at all*
Sephiroth: *returns to the bed and moves to lie down beside Jenna again, still mildly coughing in irritation from his ordeal. He is also quite worn out and exhausted because of what has just happened to him, so he lies down and tries to get comfortable*
Kalysto: Gentle? You kicked my damn dragon in the hinds! Why did you do that?
Desiree: I thought that was what you were supposed to do with horses and stuff to make them go faster.. He wasn’t moving much of anything. You said you wanted to go to that city.. So, I thought I’d get him to move by doing that. *lowers her head* Sorry.
Kalysto: You do that to horses, yeah. But is a dragon isn’t a horse – it’s a dragon. You kick a horse, it’s scared and it runs faster. You kick a dragon, it swings its head around and bites into you with it’s jaws. It does not fear. It has pride. Are you beginning to understand?
Desiree: *nods at Kalysto’s words* Yes, I understand.. I said I’m sorry. *deeply sighs and tries to curl up against his chest, partially because of a cold breeze* Can we get going already?
Sephiroth: *wiggles underneath the covers and closes his eyes, deciding to try and get some rest, deciding to sleep for the next few hours, at least if left alone*
Kalysto: We’re still flying along you sily woman. We’re still flying towards that junk city. I caught you and continued on my way, what’s the problem? *shakes his head at her* Some of you humans have no faith at all…
Desiree: *shakes her head* Then there’s no problem. No problem at all… *shivers and continues to cling onto Kalysto* Aside from it being so damn cold up here. At least you’re warm.
Kalysto: *buries his face in his hands and groans, muttering to himself in Thalassian* “Shar Dor, al’a no…” *sighs miserably, then tries to pat her back* Why do you keep doing that? It’s not like there’s anything outstanding wrong. Stop being so sensitive – do you see me crying over words?
Desiree: *Blinks and looks up at Kalysto* I said there was no problem. *shivers again* It really is cold up here, though. Your dragon must be lucky. His scales probably keep him comfortable no matter what temperature it is.
Kalysto: Come to think of it, I don’t think he actually feels hot or cold. He doesn’t even technically exist on our realm. He’s using a temporal rift to appear and fly us around. The only reason he reacted to being kicked was because you were disturbing his energy influx.
Desiree: Can you stop bringing that up already? I said I’m sorry. *frowns at him* You really like rubbing that sort of stuff in my face. *she shakes her head* I won’t kick your dragon again. I just wanted to get to someplace warm as fast as possible, that’s all.
Kalysto: Hey, somebody rubs something in, do it right back. *smirks in amusement* They’re practically giving up their right not to be mocked if they’re going to insult you, or say something ridiculous. So have at it – say whatever you want. I’m a big boy, I can handle it.
Desiree: But… I don’t really have much to insult you over. *Shakes her head* Why should I insult you, when most of those things would be false? *chuckles* I think you just don’t think that much about yourself.
Kalysto: *mutters to himself in Thalassian* “Tal alar I adore shar rini anar…” *sighs at her* It doesn’t matter what I think, or you think. That wasn’t the point of the exercise. The point was to make you see that insults aren’t bad. They only get to you when you give them permission to. So shrug them off.
Desiree: Insults, by definition are supposed to hurt. That is why they are called insults. If they are not meant to hurt, they’d be called compliments. *frowns at him* The very purpose of an insult is to cause harm to someone’s pscyche. Father always told me not to insult anyone unless they really deserve it, “like chocobo head”.
