Desiree: But… you didn’t have the lights turned off all the time in your room before.. I was in it enough times to know that. *She frowns in confusion* Why don’t you just keep them locked up in a cabinet or closet or something?
Kalysto: I’ve worked in here many a time with the light off. *shakes his head* It doesn’t matter to me that much. And if I were to take a volitile reagent out of the cabinet, it would be exposed to the light and either deteriorate or explode. **grumbles and moves to leave the room*
Desiree: Not if it was all set up in a walk-in closet that never has the lights turned on… *she then shrugs and leans back. Soon enough, she teleports a book into her hand and begins to read. However, from time to time, she does look up and seem to focus on things that are not present. Still, she doesn’t say anything when she does turn her attention away from the book*
Kadaj: *idly kicks at a rock as he paces back and forth, contemplating on a new plan on trying to free his “mother”. For quite some time now, he and his brothers have been fighting to get her out of the WEAPON, which had swallowed her. Still, he was not going to give up on Jenova any time soon*
Jenova: *is currently in the belly of a WEAPON, and buried halfway under the rock-bed in the tunnels of the Northern Crater. The WEAPON is idle and dormant right now and so it lies there and does nothing. Jenova however, is inside, her powers nullified by the WEAPON’S powers*
Kalysto: *broods away in the new room and begins to set up experiments*
Kadaj: *pauses in his pacings to glare down at the crather below him. He then grits his teeth* Wretched planet. Give us back our mother.. *he then tilts his head to the side before looking at Loz* Brother? Do you sense another big brother? *narrows his eyes. His attention had been caught by the energy signature of the recently freed Sephiros*
Loz: *idly draws in the dirt* Big brother… there’s many of them… one here, one there. Nearby. I don’t know what to do any more… *Lowers his head, looking forlorn* Why do you ask? Which brother do you want to find?
Kadaj: *narrows his eyes in annoyance* There is a new one that I haven’t felt before. It feels like Sephiroth.. *scowls in thought* Go get it, Loz. Perhaps he can help us free mother.
Yazoo: *had already been scouting the planet for anything that might prove to be useful in helping to free his mother. Recently, he had managed to catch the very end of the fight against Sesshou. He also was able to sense the corrupted energies from Kalysto. So, at the moment, he is slipping through the entrance to Halcyon, utilizing the access that he had when he lived there. Once inside, he sneaks through the cooridoors, looking for the elves that he had witnessed*
Loz: Go get it – me? Why me? Why don’t you get it yourself. You don’t play any more. *folds his arms, looking annoyed and offended* You don’t want to play any more. *pokes out his tongue* You don’t know how to play.
Kalysto: *has his Felhunter out now and is busy bleeding it to collect it’s blood. He is quite distracted and doesn’t notice the movements nearby*
Kadaj: *Grits his teeth* Because, brother, I have to play with the big monster that has mother captive. *he points down at the crater* Would you rather go and play with it instead, hm?
Yazoo: *continues to stealthily move about the halls. He narrows his eyes in thought as he hears the noises from the room where Kalysto is. So, he quickly presses himself up against the wall then peers inside. Upon spotting Kalysto, he grins with pleasure. Soon enough, he slips into the room before quickly pressing his hand against Kalysto’s mouth and nose, in order to smother the elf, while he activates a sleep spell from one of his materia*
Loz: No.. I would not. I do not want to play with the big blue monster. It will eat us too… *sniffles* I hope mother is alright. How are you going to get her back? She’s inside the belly of the monster… and it doesn’t want to move.
Kalysto: *flicks one ear back attentively as he hears a noise somewhere behind him. When he is smothered by the hand, he immediately reacts by casting a singeing fire-spell onto the immediate ground around him. He succumbs to the sleep-spell however, and soon collapses onto the floor*
Droozun: *turns its maw up towards the stranger, and then lunges in to attempt to bite at his ankles*
Kadaj: *glares down at the crater* Well, dear brother, the solution should be simple enough to see. We need to kill that thing. *he grits his teeth* Wretched thing has fended off our materia and summons so far. So, we just need more power.
Yazoo: *growls as Kalysto casts fire around his area. So, he steps back for a moment. However, he soon grins as he notices that Kalysto has succumbed to his spell. Moving back to Kalysto, he leans in to pick him up. Though, once Droozun begins to bite at his ankles, he pulls out one of his velvet nightmares and tries to shoot the demon in the head* Be gone.
Droozun: *staggers backwards as he is shot in the head, struggling to stay bound to the physical realm. He manages to whack at Yazoo with a fel-stalk before finally collapsing, dead*
Loz: How do you kill it…? It’s been there for a long time. It’s probably going to be a very formidable opponent. And it’s boring, it doesn’t want to play at all. I could see that from the moment I laid eyes on it. *glances back at Kadaj* How do you kill it?
Yazoo: *grunts as he’s smacked by the felhunter. As soon as the demon collapses, he moves over to it and kicks its side. Upon finding that the demon is no longer moving, he walks back over to Kalysto and hefts him up onto his shoulder* Simple.
Kadaj: *Growls* By getting something stronger than our materia, Loz. That’s why I want you to find this new big brother that feels like Sephiroth.. I wonder where it had been hiding..
Loz: Ah yes. The new Big Brother is much bigger and stronger than our materia. But… you don’t know where he was? He was around that weird island we came from, brother. Then the Big Brother moved. *closes his eyes and begins to scan* I might be able to see him. If I can find him, we’ll go to him immediately.
Kalysto: *makes a weak annoyed sound, but doesn’t move much more than that*
Kadaj: Hrmph.. No, I don’t recall seeing him. No matter. Just bring him here. I’m certain he can help serve mother quite well. *with that, he wanders off a bit to look down at the crater and think*
Yazoo: *slips back out of Kalysto’s room. Soon enough, he heads for the base’s exit, hoping not to be spotted at all as he carries away his captive elf*
Loz: Bring him back, huh? Why am I doing it? Why can’t you? *moves to his feet, folding his arms* I don’t even know how to take him down by myself. The three of us couldn’t get the other Big Brother down… what makes you think I can? *flicks at his weapon*
Kadaj: *clutches his fists in frustration as he glares at Loz once more. He then snarls* Very well then, Loz. Stay put here. Keep an eye on mother. Don’t fail me. *with that, he lifts himself up into the air. He then concentrates on Sephiros’s location before teleporting*
Sephiros: *had indeed left the island. He is at the southern end of the planet, hanging around Mideel right now. Without Jenova’s guidance, he has decided to continue her goal without her. For now he is idle and nearby the giant crack in the middle of the city, taking refuge in one of the abandoned buildings*
Kadaj: *grunts as he finally appears at Mideel. Since he had teleported nearly the entire planet’s legnth, he has developed quite the headache. Still, he slowly gets to his feet and snarls* Annoying.. *After a few moments, he focuses his eyes on the dilapitated building before him* Come out, big brother. Mother needs us. *with that, he moves in on the building*
Sephiros: *snaps his eyes open as he hears the voice outside, releasing a feral snarl at the words. He moves to his feet, picking up his sword, narrowing his eyes as he hears footsteps and the sounds of somebody entering the building he has chosen* Mother is a traitor. And you do not belong here. Get the hell away from me.
Kadaj: *grins to himself as he hears Sephiros’s voice. As he steps into the building, he unsheathes his Souba* Mother is no traitor. The only traitors are those who turn against her. She will bring us to a new promised land. You will see, but she needs help right now. So, come out, Big Brother.
Sephiros: *growls loudly and swings his sword at Kadaj’s wrist, trying to disarm him* Don’t toy with me, idiot. *narrows his eyes and snarls* I’m not helping her – she’ll take you over and use you until she has no need of you any more. *glares off to one side* We can do what we want without her command. We never needed her.
Kadaj: *grunts and moves back enough to keep his wrist from taking the brunt of Sephiros’s strike. He then grits his teeth* That is a lie. Mother needs us. *he then looks up at Sephiros and tilts his head* Red eyes? Hmph.. makes no difference. *with that, he swings his sword around to an offensive position then moves in to lunge at Sephiros*
Sephiros: *moves into a battle ready stance as Kadaj comes at him. He swipes the sword again at the double-bladed souba, attempting to place the edge of his blade down inbetween them so he can twist his own sword and fling it out of Kadaj’s hands* I’m not the Sephiroth you know. Get the hell away and leave me to my own devices. I neither want your help, or to help in whatever scheme you are planning!
Kadaj: *growls in frustration as Sephiros’s sword strikes his. However, he tightens his grip in an attempt to keep onto his own sword and tilts it in the opposite direction* I am no idiot. I can see quite clearly that you are not Sephiroth. *he shakes his head* Just help us free mother. Then, you can decide whether or not you want more to do with her.
