Kalysto: Relax, I’ll do it, and it will work out. You’ll see. *frowns at her* Just have faith in what I’m planning. I don’t want to put it in the house because you’re inviting all kinds of weird people in then. *shakes his head* I got it figured out. Don’t worry.
Sephiroth: She has horn nubs and they are going to grow. Dimitri had a full set of wings. It makes sense for another of your offspring to have dragon traits. I am only suggesting claws because they are pointy.
Desiree: *sighs and nods* Ok, I trust you, Kalysto. Just… tell me if you need my help. It’d be boring to sit here all day twaddling my thumbs.. *she glances out toward the street then cringes at the sight of the dung pile* I’m not cleaning that up though…
Jenna: *nods* Yea, I see your point. *groans* How is it that Desiree was normal, and after that it all went down-hill?
Kalysto: I should get the shovel and place it in the garden. It’s very good for the soil if you can stand the stink. *wrinkles his nose at the scent* It’s freshly laid, so that means there’s another one of those little bastards hanging around here.
Sephiroth: Seres is normal. *smirks* So is Zachary. If you forget the fact he’s a biological copy of me and not an actual offspring.
Desiree: *quickly moves behind Kalysto then nods* Well, thank you for volunteering. *she nudges him* Have fun with the dung. *grins as she pushes him toward the street*
Jenna; Yes, Seres is normal. However, she’s a twin of Dimitri, so my statement stands. And Zach would have been normal no matter when he was was born because he is a direct clone. *shakes her head* It’s still strange that each child seems to get more and more.. interesting.
Sephiroth: I can’t really tell you why that is. Maybe my…. *pauses momentarily, shrugging* Maybe stronger traits are being favoured? Neither of us are human, it’s to be expected.
Kalysto: Whoa… *stumbles slightly, nearly stepping in it* Oh geez. Thanks a lot Desiree! *moves back into the yard so he can get his shovel* If I have to do this, you have to go find the pup that did it. Deal?
Desiree: Fine, fine. I’ll see if I can find it. *She glances at the pile of dung again and shakes her head* Right… *she then sets off in search of the felhunter* Here, demon, demon, demon…
Jenna: Yes, I suppose that it’s to be expected. It’s just so very strange. *shakes her head then frowns as she glances at a few reports that Seph had left near the bed. So, she decides to pick them up and flip through them out of curiosity*
Kalysto: That’s not going to make it come to you! *heads out onto the street with the shovel and winces as he scrapes up the pile of poop* Yuck…
*the Felhunter has since wandered off to the edge of town, on the energy trail of a deer. He moves along casually, so could be caught up with fairly readily*
Sephiroth: *watches her for a moment before casually speaking* Those are confidential. If you read them, don’t sell them to the competitors.
Jenna: *looks up and narrows her eyes at Sephiroth* Right… Yes, of course. That’s exactly what I’m going to do right now. *smirks* To be honest, taking your semon and selling that would garner me more money. *she then flips through the papers, soon coming to a census of the people living in the town* Huh? *narrows her eyes* Desiree Sol’thenan?
Desiree: *glares back at Kalysto* Hey, it’s worth a shot! Hrmph. *crosses her arms and heads off, following a set of paw marks that she’s found. She then sighs in relief as she finds the felhunter* Hey, come here.
Sephiroth: *stares at Jenna, then shakes his head* You want to sell my semen? How sick. *snorts* I issue that out in limited quantities only when we are having fun. It is for nobody else. Keep it that way. *despite his tone, he is amused. At least until Jenna speaks again* Desiree Sol… what? Give me that paper. It must be a different one.
*the Felhunter stops and looks back at Desiree, sitting on its haunches. It then motions ahead of itself with its felstalkers and licks its lips before wandering off again, still tracking the deer*
Jenna: *glances up at Sephiroth then nods in acknoledgement* Here. *she moves over to him and hands him the paper. Soon after, she points to the line where she was reading* Right there.
Desiree: *yelps and chases after the demon* Sorry, but I need to you to somewhere else.. *frowns then tries to open up a rift right under the felhunter’s feet* Sorry boy.
*the Felhunter squeaks in upset as it falls into the rift, crashing onto the ‘ground’ below. It stops moving, completely still and motionless*
Sephiroth: *snatches the paper away in his anger and begins to read through it* House division lot 2B… Desiree Sol’thenan + Kalys… *crunches up the paper and begins to growl* She took that idiot’s last name? She’s not even married!
Desiree: *glances down at the rift and sighs* Sorry, boy. But that’s where you belong. *shakes her head* You’ll be fine. *with that, she seals up the rift before turning around to go back home*
Jenna: *Crosses her arms* At least… not that we know of. I certainly don’t recall her mentioning marriage to me. Then again, she doesn’t talk to me.. *glances toward the window* Does this planet do “elope” style weddings?
Sephiroth: Elope style weddings? What the hell are you talking about, elope style weddings? *flicks the papers onto the table and moves to the window to glare at the house in question on the street* I’m going to kill her. I’m going to kill the both of them!
Kalysto: *dumps the pile of crap in a pile in the corner of the yard, intending to let it decompose a bit first before using it as fertilizer* So glad when these things leave.
Jenna: You know.. elope. Run off, get married. No plans, no big cerimony, usually no parents… *shakes her head* If you don’t know what it means, then that might not even exist on this planet. *she then sighs at him* Oh, you don’t mean that.
Desiree: *walks back into the yard then sighs* Ok, that’s two down. And damn.. that stinks. *shakes her head* For things that don’t need to eat.. they certainly do excrete stuff..
Sephiroth: Oh, random marriages…? It happens, but… *growls angrily* They would say something. They would say something! *glares at Kalysto working in the front yard and gives him a psychokinetic shove*
Kalysto: Oh they eat…. just not in the way you expect. In the Nether they eat stray energy. But it doesn’t exist here, so they make do with animals and– *stumbles over, shoved* ….damn it. *looks around the ground, wondering what happened*
Desiree: *rushes over to Kalysto’s side and tries to help him out* What happened? *looks around and frowns* It’s not that windy..
Jenna: *grips onto Seph’s upper left arm and looks up at him* With the way that you’re currently behaving, I can see why they wouldn’t have said a word to you. *shakes her head then moves to Seph’s desk again so that she can look over the paper* Hmm… Name acquired via prescription paperwork for COCP?
Kalysto: I don’t know what the hell just happened. It’s like… I got pushed. But there was nothing there. *narrows his eyes and moves to his feet again, dusting himself off* At least I didn’t fall on the pile of shit. *sighs* It doesn’t matter.
Sephiroth: What. Give me that! *snatches that paper from her too, glaring* I don’t even know what this is. Desiree seems to have picked up a counter prescription and… *shakes his head, angry* None of this garbage makes any sense!
Desiree: Very strange indeed.. *looks about once more* Well, hopefully it won’t happen again. I hope.. *bites her bottom lip then moves closer to Kalysto* So, what should we do now, hm?
Jenna: *nods* Yes, doesn’t make much sense at all.. I don’t know what to say to all of this, Seph. Perhaps you should try to calm down a bit then go to talk to her. That’s about the best that I can suggest there.
Kalysto: What should we do now? I am still watering plants. I also need to till down the other side of the box and plant Kingsblood. It grows in this kind of environment like weeds, and I use it for invisibility potions. I imagine that kind of potion will be popular among some of the teenagers here. I’m also sure the elves will appreciate an Apothecary once I open it and have it running.
Sephiroth: She’s going to get pissed at me. There’s no two ways about it. *snorts* An argument, no matter what, is imminent. I should avoid her until I can think of a civil way to deal with it..
Jenna: *crosses her arms* Is that not what I said? That you need to calm down first then talk to her? *shakes her head* However, not talking to her at all won’t help anything at all..
Desiree: *glances at the area where Kalysto is pointing. She then nods* Till down the soil? I’m pretty certain I can do that.. *looks about and scratches the top of her head* To do that… *grins as she spots the tool she needs. So, she grasps onto a tiller then moves to the other end of the garden and gets to work*
Kalysto: That’s it. Once the ground is open, I can pop in the seeds. *crouches down near the tilling grooves and reaches into a little pouch he has tied to his waist and begins to drop seeds into the hole, covering them over, watering them with a small watering can once he is done* Let it be known that I am not crazy. Or a nature loving elf. These may look harmless now, but they are ingredients for tools of destruction.
Sephiroth: She’s going to get mad no matter what I say…
Desiree: *looks back at Kalysto then chuckles* You? Nature loving? *shakes her head* The thought never once passed my mind. However, gardening is a productive hobby anyway. So, I never once thought badly toward you for it. *continues to till the garden*
Jenna: Perhaps, but it will spin out of control if you go in there with a temper that’s barely leashed. *she moves up behind Sephiroth. Then, she begins to massage his shoulder blades* You need to get back to work.
Sephiroth: I know, I know…. sit down, shut up, make money, and support you. *sighs, a mild grin crossing his features for a moment* I know, believe me. *puts his head down again* I hope this gets better as we go. This work is dull and repeditive. I wonder if it’s just a repeat of another thing I did some days ago. *sighs and puts his head down on his papers, getting one stuck to his forehead*
Kalysto: Hey, some people will throw that out there because of elves in general. You know… living in forests. Tending to nature. That sort of shit. *dusts his hands off* I have some ingredients in the house, so I think I’ll set up work there. I still need a dark basement to work in though…
Desiree: *frowns* Do we even have a basement? I don’t even know if any of these houses have basements. I don’t think the soil supports it… Can’t it just be a dark room? *glances over the house*
Jenna: Aren’t you your own boss, Seph? I mean, if the work is repetitive, then throw it onto someone below you and pick the work that is more interesting. At least, that’s what I’d do. *she then tilts her head as she watches him set his head down on the table* Well, that doesn’t look very “Sephirothy”. *smirks*
Kalysto: *nods* A room where no light gets in. Some of the chemical reactions are destroyed by ultraviolet light, even in the tiniest of amounts. *wanders towards the house, frowning as he looks around the kitchen* *”Where’d my herbs go?”*
Sephiroth: At this point I do not care if anything looks like anything… I am so tired out by my experiences that I don’t care any more at this current time. *yawns, raising his head again. He pulls the paper off his forehead and slides out the chair, stretching* I need to go for a walk.
