Kalysto: Fine, sheesh. *walks out of the room again, looking around for the Elder. He steps outside and glances around, wondering if anything has even been said yet*
Aedwyn: *is no longer in his room, for he has gone out to the town to speak to his people. He has gathered up the most influential people in the town and is explaining the situation to them*
Kalysto: *sighs and leans back in the doorway of the house, not being able to do much at present. He moves back into the house and begins to look through the elder’s book collection, sighing* It would have been easier to just slay them all…
After a few hours, the elder manages to get his people gathered enough to leave. They have packed up all they can and are waiting in the middle of the village.
Aedwyn: *slowly walks up to Kalysto then gently pokes him with the end of his cane* Your offer still stands? We await the actions of you and your friend.
Kalysto: *looks up from the foreign elf-language book, then slowly nods his head* Alright. *sets the book down and walks over to Jenna’s chair, lightly nudging her* They’re ready when you are. Let’s do this quick so as not to arouse suspicion.
Jenna: *had been resting in the chair that she had choosen several hours before hand. She groans as Kalysto wakes her up then nods* Very well… *she then gets up and stretches* This better not take long. *shaking her head, she moves outside. Soon enough, she begins to form a portal to Mideel. Once the portal is stable, she casts another spell to take the material objects from the houses in the area and deposit them on the other side* Ok, all of you, get going… *grumbles* Seph is going to yell like crazy.. *narrows her eyes at Kalysto* And you go first.
Kalysto: Fine… *glances behind him* Come on, everyone. *steps through the portal back to Mideel, falling on a pile of books out the other side* Holy shit. *stumbles out of the pile of goods*
Meanwhile, the elves continue to file through the portal. Soon enough, several dozen evles unceremoniously fall through the portal and land in various places outside the borders of Mideel. Most of them are more than happy to complain about bruises from their fall.
Jenna: *calmly watches as the elves file through the portal. Once the last one goes through, she closes it up without going through herself* Now, to get my payment. *with that, she pulls in her wings and then teleports to the dragon council chambers*
Kalysto: *dusts himself off, then stands tall, raising his ears high over his head, trying to look big and important* Alright, folks. We’re here. Do notice the blank houses around the town, particularly in the North sector. Pick up what’s rightfully yours and move in. I shall deal with the rest. All I ask is that I get to read your stuff and learn your magic, that’s all. *dusts himself off, at least until he is assaulted by four baby Felhunters*
Desiree: *is furiously pacing about in her house. She grumbles to herself and curses out Droozun’s name quite frequently as she paces about* It’s almost morning… Father, why the hell didn’t you just go looking for them?! *she knows she won’t get a response because she’s more or less in an empty house*
*the four baby Felhunters begin to wail and howl like high-pitched banshees as they have located Kalysto, at the request of their spawner. The smallest in the clutch quickly bounds off to find Desiree, and she squeaks at her once she finds the girl in the house, pulling on the fabric of her pants, trying to get her to come with her*
Kalysto: Hey, what the hell are you idiots doing!?
Desiree: *yelps as the felhunter bites on her clothes. She then groans* Ok.. but if this is another squirrel chase.. Well, you’re going to be kicked or something. *sighing, she moves to follow after hte demon*
*the baby Felhunter keeps dragging Desiree along, finally stopping once she is outside with Kalysto. She sits on her hinds then begins to thump her fur-covered tail rapidly, eagerly awaiting all the praise and respect she thinks she’s about to get for finding something Desiree wants*
Kalysto: Oh… *crouches down, trying to push the Felhunters off him* Hi Desiree… um. How are you?
Desiree: *yelps in frustration as she’s dragged along. She then mumbles* You definitely are stronger than you lo- *spotting Kalysto, she freezes up for a moment as her eyes become wide. She then rushes over to him before slapping him* How dare you leave me like that?!
Kalysto: *flinches as he’s slapped* Oh come on! What the fuck was that for?! *cringes* That freakin hurt, you know! Ooh you vile creature, why would you do that!? *glares hard at her* I was out doing some good in the world! Don’t you dare cast judgement on me like that and accuse me of leaving you! I didnt even know I was going to be gone that long!
Desiree: *ignores Kalysto’s rant and just moves to embrace him in a death grip* Don’t ever leave me like that again… *she releases a faint whimper and slowly tightens her grip around him, not seeming to care whether or not she squeezes the air out of his lungs*
Kalysto: Holy f—*cringes as he is crushed in Desiree’s hug. His hands spasm slightly as the blood supply to them is constricted and his ears raise high and tense over his head* Okay okay ok… *coughs* …let go of me again?
Desiree: *slowly lets go of Kalysto, though she seems to be quite reluctant to do such. She then looks past him and stares at all the new elves* Ummm… What were you doing? And where’s Droozun? I asked him to try to find you.
Kalysto: Oh he found me. I just didn’t understand what the hell he was doing. Little fucker bit me, more than once. *glances at the elves* Oh, them? Meet the new residents of Mideel. They’re here to stay, and taking sanctuary here. I am going to learn their language and read their collections of books.
Desiree: *frowns at Kalysto* You really need to learn how to listen to your demons.. *shakes her head then looks over at the elves again* Oh… Ok… *Shakes her head* Well, their ears don’t stick out quite as much as yours, so I guess they’ll have an easier time blending in.
Kalysto: They will…. *sighs at them, then heads for ‘his’ house* Come on. It’s been a long day. I’d like to shower up and go to sleep. Migrating Elves is hard work you know. *yawns lightly, then shakes his head* So you spent your day lookign for me?
Desiree: *Grumbles* It was more like running a rut in our new house… *quickly shakes her head then scowls at him* Why didn’t you tell me anything? *crosses her arms* Don’t ever run off like that again! *She then huffs and storms off toward their house*
Kalysto: Hey, I didn’t know it would take that long! Did I tell you, or did I not tell you about that part? Sheesh… anyone would think I commited a crime. *scowls* Silly females… I don’t know what to think about them sometimes. *walks into the house and immediately heads for the shower, intending to have a nice long relaxing one*
Bachemius: *is brooding around the caverns, attempting to blend in with his surroundings*
Desiree: Yea… Well, I still will remind you that you should never do that ever again! *sighs and watches him head to the shower. She then bites her bottom lip in thought before softly speaking up* Umm… I can join you..
Jenna: *calmly walks to the meeting room then grins with relief as she notices the shadow that’s just barely visible* Ah, good, you’re still here. Thought you may had gone home.
