Desiree: *Stares wide-eyed at the cat as Kalysto moves it about. She then yelps as it growls upon being set on the ground. So, she takes a cautious step back* Tame it? But… I’ve never tamed anything… Let alone something that looks like its ready to bite my head off.
Future Kalysto: It takes more than a simple summoning circle to bind a demon for your own bidding. I can assist in creating the magic circle bindings, but without the spellbook used to trap the demon in the first place, you have to rely on your wit… when I faced down my felhunter and finally trapped it, I barely escaped with my life. Then there was the taming process… *motions ahead with his hand* I am getting ahead of myself. *glances at her staff* May I borrow that?
Desiree: *tilts her head as she ponders over what Kalysto is telling her. As he asks for the staff, she blinks, snapping out of her thoughts. She then hands over the staff and nods* Sure. *grins* Thank you for the help. I’m certain you want to get back to your Desiree as soon as possible though. *blushes as she considers what she’s saying*
Future-Kalysto: Indeed… Our youngest is cutting teeth. She will be most relieved for me to take the child off her hands again. *takes the staff and holds onto it for a moment, activating the runes to make the staff glow brightly. With that he begins to draw a line in the sand, taking almost no time at all to draw up a rather intricate binding circle. He then crouches down and places two fingers on the edge of it, causing the circle to heat up and sand to melt into the drawn pits, turning to glass* There. It shouldn’t break or shift unless stood on heavily. *hands the staff back to her* Shall we begin?
Desiree: *her eyes manage to grow even wider as she watches him light up the staff. Once he give it back to her, she grips onto it and promptly nods* Y-yea… *she eyes the cat then grins* It is rather attractive. *chuckles then moves toward the circle that Kalysto had made* Soo… I do.. what exactly?
Future-Kalysto: Let me explain the process to you… now that I have created the basic binding circle, you may stand on one side of it and use the staff to channel the demon’s energy onto the other side. Once that is done, one is supposed read a incantation from the Warlock’s tome… but as I have not got it with me, you shall have to make do with whatever comes into your head. It sounds loopy, but trust me when I say the words will come. *sighs* Be careful, Desiree…. this feline is powerful, and I’d like to see you keep your head on your shoulders.
Desiree: *eyes the circle once more then nods* Ok… I think I can do that. *she slowly steps into the circle, though she flinches and shuffles to the side as the feline lunges for her feet. She then takes a deep breath in an attempt to steady her nerves* Whatever comes to my head? Yea… *shakes her head and tries to clear it of her fright. She then begins attempting to channel the feline’s power via the staff as Kalysto told her to do*
Future-Kalysto: *steps back out of the way and watches her, wanting to stay nearby, but also not wanting to get in the way of something that shouldn’t be disrupted. He also remains quiet for the same reason, and merely nods his head in encouragement*
Desiree: *gasps in shock as the feline disappears in a puff of smoke only to reappear on another end of the circle. Luckily, it isn’t able to phase out of the circle. She then shakes her head and continues to concentrate on her task. She licks her lips in nervousness as she continues working on taming the creature. She then silently mutters under her breath, but it isn’t very loud or intelligable to anyone else. Finally, the demon cat stops struggling all together*
Future-Kalysto: *begins to gently clap his hands once the demon cat has stopped struggling* I must say, I’m impressed, Desiree. When I tamed my Felhunter like that, it did not go very well… or as cleanly as it should have. *glances down, momentarily embarassed* I… you have the potential to become very powerful indeed…
Desiree: *pants slightly, exhausted. She then glances over at Kalysto before walking over to him. Soon after, she circles her arms about his shoulders and kisses him* Thank you for the help.. And I should say that you should know what my potential is. *she shakes her head* You should go back to your home. But… How can I know for certain that you didn’t just get that message too soon?
Future-Kalysto: *frowns at her, then lowers his head* I’m not sure I should tell you, but… *seems very hesitant* …you nearly died. Trying to save my ass. I tried to do something very foolish indeed, and you came after me. In the end, Milena saved both our asses. But you nearly died. I prevented it, but things haven’t been the same since that day. Perhaps it was after I came before? Because I certainly remember coming and hitting myself in the head with your staff.
Desiree: *lowers her eyes in thought then nods* Ok… But promise me that if you do ever lose me in your time and become lonely… That you’ll come to me in the past. I will never preach about breaking time and space. I’ll give you whatever comfort you need. *grins at him*
Future-Kalysto: *nods his head* I don’t want to preach my frustrations to you though. *glances at her new demon cat pet* You might want to carry it around with you for a few days. It needs time getting used to you. If you want it to like you, understand what it likes and how it thinks. My Felhunter hated me once, and an older Warlock gave me that advice. It worked.
Desiree: *nods* Yea… I’m not about to send it back to the astral plane without getting used to it. Heh.. I can’t even believe I did that.. *shakes her head then steps away from him* Go home, Kalysto. You’re needed there. *shivers* I’ll go back to my Kalysto before he starts whining about diapers again.
Future-Kalysto: Diapers? Oh what a sissy. I bet I’ve probably gone through…. *begins to count on his fingers, doing the math in his head for a few moments* ….at least 10,000 diaper changes by now. Just leave him be to get used to it. *shrugs, then glance at the cat* Is there anything else you need help with?
Desiree: *blinks then shakes her head* I probably shouldn’t have that sort of knowledge… *Grins* Just go home. Your Desiree is waiting. *she nudges him then she glances at the fel-line* Come on, Lezprah. *with that, she heads back to the house. She then talks to her own Kalysto* ~Kalysto, I think Droozun is panicked or something. You should summon him and calm him down.~
Kalysto: *”Find out what he’s pissy about. I’m trying to pin down a young dragon girl so I can take measurements to cut a cloth diaper right now. And getting yelled at for doing such.”* *growls* *”Go see what it wants.”*
Desiree: ~Ok, if that’s what you want.~ *Sighs and shakes her head. She then cuts a rift to the astral plane open* ~Droozun, I know this isn’t a summon. But if you want out, come out now. I’m not going to keep this open long.~
Droozun: Irrrrr! *backs up, then noses out the four baby Felhunters that have been following him for the past few days. Once all of them are out, he shakes himself off, then begins to make loud ‘clucking’ noises as he directs the four smaller ones to follow. Once they are in position, he turns on the feline demon and begins to stalk towards it, wailing like a banshee, almost like a battle-cry*
Desiree: *groans at the noise that Droozun is making. She then shakes her head* Stop that. It’s mine now. I tamed it. *groans and makes her way back to the house. She then glances at Droozun again* Go to Kalysto and show off your puppies.
Droozun: Urrrr!! *fluffs up its hairs, then stalks closer to the cat, making itself look intimidating before giving the cat a loud bark, trotting off in a huff, heading for the house, leading it’s offspring along with it*
Future-Kalysto: Demons certainly are…. interesting, aren’t they.
Desiree: *jumps a bit as she hears the future Kalysto speak. She then stares back at him* Oh, you’re still here… Go home. I’m certain you’re needed there. *She then glances after Droozun before sighing and making her way back to the house as well*
Future-Kalysto: Well at least I answered your note. Do you need me to come back in future dates?
Kalysto: *is having a very hard time trying to deal with Milena right now. He holds her still while trying to cut fabric around her, all the while trying to put up with her screaming because she is afraid of the scissors. When Droozun walks into the room, he doesn’t notice, at least until the four younger untamed Felhunters begin knocking over furniture and begin trying to get into everything* Damn it!!
