Seferia: *moves closer to Sephiroth then shakes her head* Just settle down, Sephiroth. What I do is not meant to harm you at all. *she reaches out to grasp onto his hands and continues trying to reach into his mind just so she can make him feel a bit more calm* If you desire to assist us, you cannot continue on your self-destructive path. Unfortunately for you, the way back to any semblance of functionality within society will not be easy. Do you honestly want to be all alone for the rest of your existence?
Sephiroth: *continues flailing his arms and snarling, objecting to her being in his mind. He does calm after another minute though, but still seems a little grouchy* Feh… stop messing with my head… *snarls in annoyance* Just… stop it. I’m not some toy you can tweak as you feel like it. *rubs the side of his head, seeming to be in considerable discomfort. He growls at her question and just continues to walk back towards the base, not answering*
Seferia: *narrows her eyes at Sephiroth* No, you are not a toy. I never said such. None of my actions have been simple toying around. *she shakes her head* I know you do not see it now, but I am helping you. *she follows after him. However, she keeps her influence in his mind, wanting to observe his thoughts and think of other ways to help him out*
Sephiroth: No you’re not! Stop violating my basic right to exist and operate under my own free will, damn you! *is very angry right now, and even somewhat alarmed that Seferia has so much influence and power over him. Though he is more concerned for the fact that his defenses against her are quite ineffective. Those thoughts have steered his mind away from exploring the area, and he is more concerned with escaping and getting away from Seferia so she can’t tweak his mind any more. Right now he just wants to get as away from her as possible and consider the situation in full before he decides whether or nor he should stay*
Seferia: I am not doing anything of the sort. At no point have I stolen away your free will. *she shakes her head at him* She then moves to stand infront of him before gripping onto his shoulders* I allowed you come out here of your own choices. I am giving you the choice of moving past your anger and hatred. The most that I have done is try to drain away some of your agression so that you can think with a calm mind. *she lowers her eyes to look into his* You will never be able to heal your mental wounds on your own. That much I can assure you.
Sephiroth: *growls back at her, teeth gritted* You think you let me come out here of my own free will, but that’s where it ends. You messed with my head before we even got out here. You messed with my head a moment ago. And you’re going to again when something else happens that you don’t like and you want to control! *snarls, reaching out to attempt to strike her across the face* You want to get me on your side? How about stop with the fucking around with me first!? You’re certainly not winning any prizes right now!!
Seferia: *doesn’t even move to stop Sephiroth from slapping her across the face. However, unlike most creatures of her size, her form is actually the compacted mass of her natural form, so she’d be much more solid than most other flesh creatures. She frowns as Sephiroth slaps her; however, she doesn’t show much more of a reaction* That is not what I have been doing. I show you things in your mind, yes. I have blocked some of your abilities for the time being since misuse of them could be disasterous. At this point in time, I cannot fully trust you not to make a rash decision and abuse those powers. I have shown you things and allowed you to experience new things. However, I have not stripped you of your free will. *She reaches out to grip onto his shoulders* I know that you do not like the process. However, I cannot coddle you like you desire to be. You are not a hatchling with a small scratch. You are a full-grown man who has several mental demons. The way to recovery is not easy. I have never indicated that it will be as easy as letting you wander about aimlessly. You will not get any help that way.
Sephiroth: Fine… do whatever you want. Just stop hassling me… *hisses in aggitation and moves back faster* I want to be alone for a while. *deeply scowls, feeling right now that he just wants to get away from Seferia*
Seferia: *Stands back away from Sephiroth, shaking her head at his behavior* ~Sometimes, the greatest kindness is to be harsh and strict. Being too lienant in the name of kindness accomplishes nothing. Please understand that I only wish to help you regain that which you lost years ago.~
Sephiroth: The only thing I lost was my right to free will. And that is something you will never be able to give back. *glares hard at her before turning around again, making the rest of his way back to the base. Once there he heads for his tent and zips it up, pouting on the floor once inside of it*
Seferia: *slowly shakes her head as she watches Sephiroth continue on ahead* I’m afraid that is not true.. You have lost so much more than just that. *She then softly snorts before continuing on her way again. For the next week, she leaves Sephiroth completely to his own devices. However, she eventually decides that it is time to reach out to him again. So, on that day, she simply opens up Sephiroth’s tent and walks inside without any warning at all*
Sephiroth: *spends most of his time alone, also keeping out of everyone’s way over the course of the next week. When Seferia opens his tent, he has stripped down and is wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. He is also sitting on a stool and is busy with a bucket and some simple soap, washing himself off as best as he can. When Seferia opens the tent, he makes a loud warning growl at her, glaring hard* Do you have any idea what the meaning of ‘privacy’ is?
Seferia: *stares down at him, not at all bothered by his glare* Privacy? *she tilts her head to the side* You do not seem to be doing something that requires for you to be left fully alone. *she then restores the position of her head to its normal upright position* I have come to try to reach out to you once more. If you are willing to listen.
Sephiroth: This isn’t something that requires privacy? *pulls his towel tightly closed, growling back at her* If it’s not, I don’t know what is. With an attitude like that, I suppose it is lucky for me that I wasn’t doing something more personal. *glares* Reach out to me? What do you want now?
Seferia: I am simply here in an attempt to be a friend to you. I hope that this time around, you will be willing to listen to me. *she glances over him* I can also show you where you actually bathe rather than simply using a cloth to sponge off some of the grit.
Sephiroth: I’ve been here how long, now? *shakes his head, irritated* I know where we actually bathe. Right now there are others there. *loudly snorts at the idea and picks up his cloth, wringing it out before dipping it in the water again so he can resume washing himself* You may leave now.
Seferia: *the tip of her tail twitches. She then shakes her head* Yes, there is the public spot. There is also another spot that only those of the royal family and her associates use. If you desire your privacy while doing this task, though I do not understand why, I can give you access to it.
Sephiroth: *glances back at Seferia momentarily as if he is seriously considering her idea. Almost as quickly however, he turns his back on her once again and dips his cloth back into the bucket to wring it out again* Why would you grant me access to something like that? Here, I’m absolutely nothing, nobody. I’m a grunt, a peon. *growls* And why do I want privacy while I am bathing? The answer is rather simple – I do not want anybody to see my penis. *snorts* Is that a good enough answer for you?
Seferia: *blinks at Sephiroth’s response. She then shrugs* The ways of you humans are so very unusual and silly. *she shakes her head* Still, my offer remains. I do not want you to feel like a prisoner. I have told you several times that you are not one. You are just a man who has severely lost his way.
Sephiroth: *growls* I’m not taking up the offer. I’m fine where I am, and I have almost finished. However, I may take it up another day. *shrugs* I may not be a prisoner, but that does not change the fact that I am still nothing here. I am still a peon. So why allow me to bathe with royalty?
Seferia: You need no rank for me to provide a kindness. Acts of that nature are given no matter what the other can give in return. Do you understand that concept? *she shrugs then turns around so that her back is facing him* You may dress without fear of having me watch. Once you are ready, I must request for you to come with me.
Sephiroth: *sighs in annoyance, finding nothing in her words that is worth arguing about* Fine… not like I am doing anything anyway. *rises up off his stool and sets the bucket of water and stool to one side. He wanders over to his bed and picks up his clothing, casually changing into it* I’m ready. *turns around, glancing back at her*
Seferia: *tilts her head to look back at Sephiroth. She then nods in approval before stepping out of his tent* Follow me. *She then begins to lead him to through the camp. Soon enough, she comes to a small arena area where children are practicing with various weapons* I wish for you to do a duty that I’m certain that you’ve done in the past, though probably not to children of this age. *she looks back at him* For today, at least, I want you to instruct these children here on proper fighting techniques. Most of them only know play and not any useful methods of defending themselves.
Sephiroth: *follows Seferia across the camp, tilting his head slightly as he sees the children playing around. When Seferia asks him to train them, he raises an eyebrow before scowling* F… *pauses, thinking better of what he was about to say. He glances at Seferia’s face, wondering if she’s serious or not. He quickly shakes his head in response, then moves ahead towards the kids, eyeing off the area, seeming to be looking for something* This would be unsafe without wooden swords.
