Seph: Phh, I’m good in bed. I never fall out. *grins and continues to blow in Cairo’s ears, chuckling as she growls at him* She’s so cute. It’s funny to think that something that small can get mad. *yelps as Cairo gets angry and bites at his hand* Okay, I’m sorry! *frowns and pats her head in a grooming manner to calm her down*
Jennah: *lightly coughs, not certain how best to break the definition to Sephiroth. So, she decides just to say it* Seph, I am not talking about sleeping. “Good in bed” refers to the ability to have sex with a woman. Or rather, the man’s ability to actually give her an orgasm. Women need more than just seeing a cute man to have an orgasm, so they look for ones that will give them a “good time”. *Shakes her head as Cairo bites Sephiroth* I told you to be careful. She’s not a doll.
Seph: *looks a little embarrassed as Jennah explains the definition to him* Oh, I see… *grins nervously* I wouldn’t know anything about how to give a woman an orgasm. Hell, I don’t even know how to give myself an orgasm. *shrugs* Who cares. *picks up Cairo and pats her back, chuckling as she burps*
Jennah: *chuckles at Sephiroth and nods* Yes, I imagine that information is not your expertise as of yet. As for giving yourself an orgasm.. Let’s just say it won’t take much. Men are known to get excited quite easily. *tilts her head at the burping sound* I didn’t know that you can burp them in the same way that you can burp a human child.. *shrugs* Not that it matters.
Seph: Who knows why she did that. It was funny anyway. *picks up the kitten to look at her, grinning as she closes her eyes and tries to sleep. He sets her back down on the bed, then climbs off* I think I’m ready to start training with that sword now. Let me go get it. *walks into his bedroom to retrieve it*
Jennah: *nods before propping herself with her arms so that she’s sitting upright. She stretches for a moment then hops off the bed. From there, she begins walking up the stairs to the training room* ~Very well then, I shall meet you upstairs. Do not feel the need to rush, Seph. I will not punish you if you are not prompt.~
Seph: *”Thanks, mother.”* *spends a few moments puttering around his room, tidying up his laundry. From there, he carries his wooden sword out of his room, then picks up Cairo and sets her down in her basket so she can sleep properly* I’ll be back in an hour or so. Until then, you’re in charge.
Cairo: *yawns and curls her tail around her hinds*
Seph: *grins and runs out of the room, heading up to the training area* Just don’t beat me too badly, okay mother?
Jennah: *frowns at Sephiroth’s comment* I told you before, we are not going to spar. This is a lesson on katas. Just like the exersises I had you practice before allowing you to spar in hand-to-hand combat with me. *lifts up a katana that she had grabbed for herself* Now, let us start with how to properly hold the sword. *Thus, she spends the next two hours showing Sephiroth the introductory information in order to start using a sword. She spends the first thirty minutes instructing him on how to hold onto the base of the sword and the various stances that are used for attack, defence, and stand-by. Then, she begins to show him the first set of katas. Once that is all done, she stands back to watch him try everything on his own*
Seph: *pays close attention through the lesson, positioning himself as necessary when Jennah speaks and shows him how to do things. He snickers in amusement as Jennah moves through some of the techniques, due to the fact he thinks the way she moves is funny. He moves into the same positions and giggles, obviously not taking the lesson seriously* This is fun. *continues paying attention to Jennah and tries the moves for himself, screwing up much of the movements*
Jennah: *shakes her head at Sephiroth* Tell me, Seph. Do you think this is a joke? Do you think that the day you do go into battle with someone like Vixen, that they’ll be mystified by your laughter? *Shakes her head* Again, and this time, concentrate! *whacks the blade of her sword against the floor to emphasize her words*
Seph: *yelps and jumps slightly at the banging noise and concentrates on doing the kata for real this time. About halfway through, he trips over his own feet, then loudly chuckles in amusement as he crashes to the floor*
Jennah: *Shakes her head at Sephy* Again. As I said, concentrate. You need to focus. With time, this will come naturally, but for now, you need to concentrate. *walks over to him and picks him up so that he’d be back on his feet* Be aware of your feet, of your hands, of your stance, everything. Take as much time as necessary to make each movement perfect. In time, you’ll be able to speed this up, like this. *steps away from him then shows him a series of complex katas at full speed*
Seph: *steps back and watches Jennah as she performs the complex set of katas, awed at how fast she moves. He broadly grins as he steps even further out of the way, then tries to mimic her, broadly grinning* I’ll try my best to learn as much as possible! You can count on me.
Jennah: *Shakes her head at Sephiroth* Yes, learn, but for now, practice what I told you to. You are not skilled enough to do the steps I just showed you. *whacks her blade against the ground again* So, get to work. *walks out of the room* I’ll be back in a half an hour. If you are not prepared to show me the first katas perfectly without trips by that time, I will not watch a movie with you tonight. *disappears from Sephy’s sight*
Seph: *watches Jennah leave the room* Phh… *stands there, then begins to slowly go through the kata that Jennah had just taught him. He goes through the moves slowly, repeating them over and over again. He grins to himself as he adds a few moves here and there, then resumes practising it properly. By the time Jennah returns, he would be working on the footwork placement alone, having practised with the sword enough to feel confident with what he has already done*
Jenna: *spends some time in Centra’s main console area, checking the scans for any signs of activity. She frowns as she finds nothing, not fully convinced that there is nothing that will come to attack her home. Still, she steps away once the half hour is up and walks back to the training room. Once there, the sorceress stops in the doorway and watches Sephiroth for a moment* Good work. Are you ready to show me the full kata?
Seph: *nods his head* Ready as I’ll ever be. *begins to slowly, but fairly accurately perform the katas that Jennah demonstrated, making only two mistakes with the sword as he goes through the different moves. When he has completed both katas, he bows his head, then looks over at Jennah expectantly* How was that?
Jenna: *watches Sephiroth and nods in approval at his moves. She chooses not to scold him for the minor mistakes he makes and instead claps with approval once he finishes* Well done, you’ll need to practice them a bit more, but I’m glad to see that you’ve got those ones down. Tomorrow, we’ll teach you some more complex katas if you want.
Seph: *pants slightly, then bows his head to Jenna, grinning* Thank you. *frowns* But you said I had to do them perfect, otherwise you weren’t going to watch a movie with me later. What made you change your mind? *pauses, frowning* I have to learn more? How many of these are we going to do?
Jennah: There are about twenty various katas of differing styles that I wish to teach you to start with. In time, you’ll be making up your own katas so that you’d expand your techniques further. Just like I’ve had you do with your hand-to-hand combat training. As for the movie, I said that so that you’d work hard. Since you did work hard, I’ll watch one with you. *smirks at him* Now, are you ready?
Seph: Ready to watch the movie, or ready to learn more? *yawns* I’ve been learning all day, I’d like to take a break at some point. I’m guessing it’s dark outside by now. And Cairo is probably missing us. *places his wooden sword back into it’s holster at his side, then stretches out his limbs*
Jennah: *shakes her head at Sephiroth, releasing a soft chuckle* You need to learn how to focus, Seph. I was speaking of your movie, was I not? So, let’s go to your room and watch one. I just hope that you do not wind up finding another pornographic film by mistake. *frowns at the thought of the last time Sephiroth had accidently stopped Centra’s scan on one*
Seph: *grins nervously* What’s wrong with that? It was entertaining. It was educational. I liked it. And Centra didn’t care what I chose to watch. Besides, she was channel surfing and stopped when I asked her what it was. If you don’t want me watching that stuff, you should tell Centra that I’m not allowed to look at it.
Jennah: *cocks her eyebrow* My, that’s quite a drastic difference from the twitching and yelping that you did when you found out what the film was. *shakes her head* I must admit that you were an endless stream of questions after that. *grins at the thought of Sephy’s sex education* But, if you think that you’re mature enough to handle those films, then by all means, watch them. Though you may want to stray away from the homosexual ones. I have no intentions on educating on that subject quite yet.
Seph: *an amused grin crosses his face for a moment, but he gives Jennah a non-caring shrug* Phh, maybe if I come across them in my channel surfing, I might look if there’s nothing else on. *leans his wooden sword up against the wall, then casually strolls out of the area* What kind of film do you have in mind for this evening, mother? Or do you just wish to let me choose one of those dumb ‘action films’ again?
