Seph: *continues to hug onto Jenna, despite the comment about her scales* I really don’t mind them, mother. I haven’t even gotten scratches or anything like that. *lets go of her once again, then rolls his eyes at the mention of Ramiel* Phh… he ran under the bed again. Why he did that, I’ll never know. He’s a coward. I was never that much of a coward.
Ramiel: *makes a soft growling noise from his place under the bed, not liking Seph’s comments on him. However, he remains under there, not willing to come out yet*
Jennah: *frowns at her “son’s” words, slowly shaking her head in disapproval* Seph, he is young and in a new area. I think you have forgotten how skittish you were when we first met. *sighs then wraps her wings about her body before casting a spell to return to her true form. Once that is done, she kneels down and offers her hand out to Ramiel* Come on out. It’s ok; you’re safe here. *tries to give him a comforting grin, though it turns out a bit eschew since she still has problems managing grins*
Seph: Phh, I wasn’t that skittish. Maybe shy and afraid, but I quickly overcame it. This guy, well, he still has a long way to go. *watches Jennah’s display, then blinks as she returns to her normal form, seeming to be amazed by the spell* I wish I could do that… *shakes his head* What’s going to happen now, mother? Are we going to go after Jenova? Are we going to leave this world? *glances at Ramiel* You might have to just drag him out of there.
Ramiel: *just stares back at Jennah, then gives her the same grin, imitating her. However, he remains under the bed for now*
Jennah: *glances over at Seph, sitting up slightly* You’ve seen me switch between my draconic form and my natural form before, Seph. You don’t need to act so amazed each time. *smirks* As to what the plans are… I’m not certain.. I think Jenova is dead, but Hojo is still loose and he might just try to experiment with more children. *Frowns* But on the other hand, it’s not really my place to take care of the problems of this world… *mumbles* But this is your world by birth and you do have the right to not want to see it go to hell. *looks under the bed again* Ramiel, come out. We won’t hurt you.
Ramiel: *makes an incoherrent babbling noise back at Jennah, then boldly comes out to her, lightly shoving her in the legs* Back!! *makes a weak growl* Back, back, away!
Seph: Yeah yeah… *dismissively waves his hand* I’ve seen it, but it’s still pretty damn cool. *frowns in thought, sighing* I don’t really want to see Hojo or Jenova do anything bad and ruin my home. Well, not really my home any more… *shrugs* I suppose I can always come back, right? I don’t think we can stop Hojo from making another person like me for as long as he’s alive.
Jennah: *chuckles at Ramiel’s words* Quite demanding, aren’t you? *shakes her head and stands up* Next time, ask nicely. *turns her attention to Seph* We can come back later, yes, but the longer we wait, the more damage there will be. Not to mention, we can insure that he won’t do anything by killing him.. But I’m not in good enough shape to go with guns blazing toward another fight. *sits down on the bed*
Ramiel: *makes a loud aggressive growl at Jenna now that he feels much bolder and has noticed that she hasn’t attacked him yet. With his small voice, it would probably sound more comical than anything*
Seph: *sighs at his surrogate mother’s words, then slowly shakes his head, sitting next to her on the bed* We’ll come back in a few weeks, then. Let me fight this time, I bet I could take Hojo on. *tilts his head at Ramiel, then smirks* Looks like you made him pissed.
Jennah: *rolls her eyes at the noise that Ramiel is making and casts a spell to levitate him off the floor and over to her* Be polite and appreciative. We could have left you with Hojo, after all. *turns her attention to Seph and nods at him* Very well, but you will not fight him alone. You are not old enough to handle such a battle on your own quite yet.
Ramiel: *makes a rather panicked frightened noise as he finds himself being lifted off the ground, then flails out his limbs in an attempt to grab onto something* Nnnggh!! *reaches out for Jennah and tries to grab onto her seeing as though she is the closest thing to him*
Seph: *balls his hands into fists, then holds them up, boxer style* Watch me, mother. One day, I just want to… *growls and boxes the air* I want to punch that spectacle-eyed idiot right in the face!
Jennah: *wraps her arms about Ramiel and pats his back* Now, settle down and gain some manners, little one. I won’t get as cruel as Hojo, but if you push me, I will teach you who is the alpha of this family. As for you, Seph, you are far from tall enough to hit Hojo in the face at this point in time. You’re going to have to settle with punching his family jewels.
Ramiel: *clings onto Jennah for the time being, shivering and shaking because he was panicked with being in the air* Nmmm… *physically flinches at the mention of the name Hojo, then is quiet again*
Seph: *grins up at Jennah* I can totally deal with that, mother. As long as I don’t have to touch them. Blagh. *winces for a moment, then is quiet again* Um… *scratches his head* So are we going back home to Halcyon now, or what?
Jennah: *begins to massage Ramiel’s back in an attempt to calm him down* Shh, calm down boy. As I said, we’re not going to hurt you. *shakes her head at Seph’s question* I’m sorry, but it’ll have to wait until I rest in the least. I need to recover from my prior fight with Jenova. We should be fine for just tonight. *keeps her arms wrapped about Ramiel then lies down on the bed* Do you want to turn off the lights for us, Seph?
Ramiel: *clings onto Jennah for the time being, going silent, seeming to be placidated by her gentle touch. He cuddles onto her once she is lying down with him, seeming quite clingy and needy for physical contact now, not wanting to let go of her*
Seph: *sighs, having wanted to leave* Aww OK, mother. *pouts and walks across the room to flick the light switch, hopping up onto the bed* How bad did Hojo abuse that guy anyway? *nods at Ramiel, indicating to him*
Jennah: *tiredly grumbles* I don’t know, Seph. I haven’t had enough time with the boy to be able to find such details out. If anyone had the most time with him, it would have been you. *yawns* Just relax and get some sleep, ok?
Seph: *slowly nods his head as he pulls the covers over himself, lying next to her* Alright, but keep an eye on him. He might try to run away during the night, or pee on you in his sleep or something like that. He looks pretty little. Younger than I was when you stole me away from the lab, anyway. I don’t think he even knows how to talk properly.
Jennah: *mutters* He won’t get far if he tries to run, Seph. You know that I put spells over this room to insure that the two of you, especially him, can’t leave without me present. As for peeing on me.. so be it. I can wash it off later on. It’s not like you never wet your bed.
Seph: *tenses suddenly, then looks up at her, glaring* Hey, don’t remind me about that! *makes a sharp grunt of protest* That was a long time ago, it’s not relevant any more. *eyes Ramiel suspiciously for a moment before settling back down again* I don’t think he’s going to run. He certainly doesn’t look like it. *scowls slightly, seeming a bit jealous of Ramiel’s current position*
Jennah: *Smirks at Seph then frowns, noticing his expression. She slowly removes one of her arms from Ramiel, taking care not to disturb him and to keep her other arm where it is. Then, she reaches over to wrap her free arm about Seph* Stop that. You’re no less special to me than a week ago, Seph. And you were the one who said just a few moments ago that you think this boy here *nods to Ramiel* will run.
Seph: *nods his head* I know. That’s because I think he will… he ran anywhere else he could when he was afraid. *scowls, but snuggles up against Jennah anyway* I hope he doesn’t turn out to be too much of a pain. I haven’t really heard him say anything yet, I hope we don’t have to teach him that.
Jenna: *silently chuckles, not wanting to disturb the younger boy* Now you’re going in circles, Seph. Either you think he’s going to run, or you don’t think he’s going to run, or you do still think he’s going to run. We’re going to have to get a score card soon. *rubs her “son’s” shoulder* I’ve heard him speak a few things, so it sounds like he has the beginnings of a vocabulary down. We just need to give him more time. For now, get some sleep. *closes her eyes*
Seph: *quietly sighs* Yes, mother. As for the guy, I dunno how he is yet. But I wonder. No score card necessary. *snuggles up against Jennah and remains asleep until the early morning hours, waking up to turn the TV on once properly awake to play video games*
Jennah: *releases a soft groan as she hears the television turn on and turns her face away from the light* Mmmm.. Seph, it’s still early. Why do you have to have that thing on already? *yawns and slowly opens her eyes after a few more minutes, giving up on staying asleep. From there, she gently sets Ramiel to her side and sits upright* Turn that thing off for a moment. I want to check the news..
Seph: *keeps playing, immediately sounding dissapointed* Aww come on, mother! Do I have to? Can’t you just turn on a radio or something? *grumbles to himself, but is obedient to Jennah’s request because he wants to make her pleased. He gets up to turn the game console off, unplugging it so Jennah can watch the television stations* What are you looking for, anyway?
Ramiel: *is still dead asleep and curled up. He makes a low murmuring noise, but is otherwise not at all disturbed by being moved*
Jennah: *crosses her arms at Seph’s initial complaints* I don’t exactly have a radio available, Seph. *She then nods in approval once he sets it up so she can search the news. So, she picks up the remote and flicks through the channels, soon stopping on the news* I am looking for information on last night’s scuffle. I didn’t exactly dispatch of both opponents last night, my son… For all I know, Hojo is out there and searching for both you and Ramiel. So, I want to be prepared for all scenarios.
For the time being, not much on the TV was being reported. Most of the events that had occured last night were classified information, and the ShinRa Building itself was now in complete lockdown. The President had issued a statement to the general public via the TV that the event that occured was nothing more than a Mako explosion, and the result of terrorists. Power will be provided to Midgar as per usual. Absolutely no mention is made of Jenova, the Jenova Project, Hojo, Sephiroth, or Ramiel.
Seph: *folds his arms* We got Ramiel. If Hojo’s not dead, then why don’t you just go back and kill him? Or move him to somewhere else? He’s not impossible to kill or anything. If I had gone with you, he’d already be dead. *punches at the air, imitating one of the fighters in his games*
Ramiel: *just continues to sleep, as his body is still tired out and he is trying to recover from his weakened state when he was in the laboratories*
