Jennah: *Growls at Hojo and moves to shove him away from her, snorting* My wings have nothing to do with my genetics either. Those are manifestations of my power of whilch I manipulate the molecules around me to give them physical form. You are a pure idiot. *smirks* And now you are an idiot who has no data in your computers or records rooms any more. *tries to walk past Hojo, intending to leave*
*invisible small ribbonlike tendrils of energy begin to waft and circle around Jennah, surrounding her from all directions, their weilder using them with the intent to hold and bind her. If she were to sense where they are coming from, she’d see that they are coming from one of the punctured holes in Jenova’s cryogenic chamber. The same kinds of energy tendrils are wrapped around Hojo’s head, but they are there to control him*
Hojo: *chuckles and slowly pushes himself to his feet* No escaping now, my lovely little specimen…
Jennah: *hisses in annoyance as she feels the energy tendrils try to wrap themselves around her. Unfortunately for Jenova, this sorceress is too accustomed to a demi-god attempting such stunts well too often on her. So, Jennah turns around to face Jenova then casts a spell to make the space around Jenova’s face heat up to the point that it would be searing her face. Then she glares at Hojo* I am not your specimin, idiot.
Jenova: *makes a very audible screeching noise, which would be loud but muffled thanks to the cryogenic liquid. She sinks back in the tank, seeking the cooler areas of the liquid to soothe the burning on her face*
Hojo: *seems quite disorientated as Jenova is distracted, her manipulation on him temporarily lifted and falls over as if dead* What’s happening…? *struggles to get to his feet, but his movements are very slow and uncoordinated like he’s drunk*
Jennah: *pauses in mid-step as she hears Hojo’s question and looks back at him. She tilts her head, curious then softly chuckles* My, someone should lay off the bews. *broadly grins then chuckles* Does the little scientist remember a thing about what he was just doing, hm? *turns around to face Hojo before firmly planting her hands on her hips*
Hojo: *lowers his head and hammers a fist on Jenova’s tank* No… she’s taking control of everything… *coughs* Get away while you can, pretty specimen… *begins to flinch as his body shifts about like something is inside it* I want this world without her…
Jennah: *blinks in confusion and moves closer to Hojo, curious now* Are you trying to pull the wools over my eyes, scientist? You are the one who choose to inject yourself with Jenova cells, and you are the one that decided to have a son simply to experiment on. *snorts* You are not exactly an innocent little angel. *casts another spell to sear Jenova, wanting to keep her occupied with pain*
Hojo: *chuckles at her and moves to lie on his stomach, the back skin underneath his labcoat beginning to squirm like there is something stuck under there and tryign to break out* You’re right – I’m not innocent… I’m not guilty either.. You stole Sephiroth from me, and then you took away my angel. Without them, I am forced to do things on my own… *sharp dark purple vine-like growths stab out of his back violently and begin developing sharp razor like horns*
Jennah: *titlts her head as she watches Hojo develop the horns then shrugs and turns around* Your angel, huh? Very interesting. Well, *waves back at him* have fun with Jenova, dick-head. I’ll just run circles around your little guards and whoever you send after me. *looks around* Hey… where is your staff?
Hojo: *tries using the vine-like growths like arms to crawl up to his feet, grabbing at the cryogenic chamber as he scrabbles up* Some ran away… some were killed… *snickers* Good thing its night time and every body is home, else we’d have to kill everybody on this floor… *one of the vine-like tentacles pushes down on the door to Jenova’s chamber and opens it* And the president… I want his head to explode.
*The light blue icy cold liquid inside the chamber gushes across the floor, making the room several degrees cooler in an instant. Jenova’s weak body slumps onto the floor with a sickening slopping sound as the fluid gushes out, and she wiggles on the floor, heating up, her body gaining strength.*
Jennah: Right.. *shrugs* You have fun doing all that, idiot. I am going back to my boys. *waves at Hojo* Bye, bye. Idiot. *smirks* Oh yes, and before I go.. *closes her eyes and casts a final spell on Jenova. The spell encases Jenova in a thick sheet of magically created ice that would only melt at extreme heat of say the type you’d find in an iron smelter or after ten years. Once that is done, Jenna turns tail and runs toward the stairs*
Hojo: *is in too much of a disorientated state to really do much about Jennah’s departure. He lies down near Jenova’s ice-casing and closes his eyes like he is going to drift off to sleep* Come back my lovely specimen… *watches her leave and sighs*
Jennah: *sighs in relief once she is a good distance away from Hojo* Well, this development doesn’t bode well… He won’t be that much of a replacement for Seph with that mental state. *snorts and decides that she’ll deal with the dillemma later. Instead, she closes her eyes and teleports back to Costa del Sol. Once she appears on the beach of the resort town, she dashes toward the hotel and quickly returns to her room to check on the boys that she had left behind*
Ramiel: *is busy trying to climb all over Seph and pull at his hair, loudly giggling with amusement. He pokes at Seph’s ears and bats his hair, then tries to push him onto the floor* Down, down down!
Seph: *is clearly not overly enjoying some of the things Ramiel is doing, but is for the most part in good spirits about it and amused at his happiness and antics. He grabs at Ramiel’s hands to stop fingers being poked in his eye, but is otherwise tolerating him* You’re not gonna knock me down. Just don’t be so rough, okay? *is too preoccupied with Ramiel that he doesn’t notice Jennah*
Jennah: *slips into the room and silently closes the door behind her. Once inside, she pauses and stares at the scene before her for a few minutes, trying to digest what she is witnessing. After a few moments, she grins and softly chuckles* Well, I am glad that you two are getting along well. *strolls over to the boys and reaches down to pick up Ramiel* Hey, boy, do you know why Hojo called you “his angel”?
Ramiel: *blinks and looks up at Jennah. He slowly shakes his head, then pokes out his tongue* No’me… no idea what that is. He kept givin’ me feathers like angel though. Dunno why… *grins and hugs onto Seph’s arm, trying to twist it back*
Seph: *winces in pain* Hah, yeah we’re gettgn along great…
Jennah: *shakes her head, catching onto Seph’s tone* Boys play rough, Seph. You of all people should be aware of that. *moves up behind Ramiel then gently plucks him up into her arms* So, you don’t know why Hojo called you his angel? Did he ever rant and rave and say things that you didn’t.. Oh, nevermind, I forget who I’m talking about.
Ramiel: *yelps as he’s picked up and looks up at Jennah, shaking his head* No’me… don’know… *looks down at Seph and smirks, flailing a hand out at him as if to try and strike out at him in a playful manner*
Seph: *looks quite relieved to have Ramiel off his back* I never played that rough. He probably would have started biting me soon. Hojo’s wrong as usual – he’s no angel. He’s not even remotely behaving like one.
Jennah: *keeps a firm grip on Ramiel and shakes her head* That is enough, boy. Seph is not enjoying your rough playing. Maybe if you settled down and relaxed, Seph will play with you some more. Ok? *looks down at Seph* Are you ready to do a lot of reading? *pulls out Hojo’s records and deposits them from her subspace pocket to spots all over the room* You’re much better at reading than I am, Seph.
Seph: *frowns as the stolen records land in various places on the floor all around him. He stands up and begins going through one, raising eyebrows at notes commenting about some of Ramiel’s dietary intakes* Reading? What am I supposed to be reading up on here?
Ramiel: Nmmm… *seems unhappy with Jennah’s words and tone of voice, then begins to softly whimper in protest now that his source of fun is essentially killed*
Jennah: I don’t know. Just read through them and tell me if you find anything of use about either yourself or your new brother. There must be clues as to why Hojo said that Ramiel was his angel, aside from that man being completely mad.. *shakes her head* Either way, just look through those papers for me. *sets Ramiel down on the floor once more and pats his head* As for you, behave yourself. Sephiroth is not a punching bag, understand. If you be a good boy, I’ll get you any toy that you can think of, understand?
Seph: Probably for the same reason he named me ‘Sephiroth’, mother. It’s just some fancy thing to do with being a God. And I never did that. He named Ramiel after an angel maybe? *shrugs* Hojo’s crazy. *picks up some of the papers and sighs* This is boring… *pulls out a file containing Ramiel’s parentage. He places the file on the floor and begins to look through it* Ramiel’s birth mother is here. *goes quiet as he reads*
Ramiel: *looks up at Jennah as he’s set back down on the floor and nods* Yes… *gets to his feet and wanders over to Seph, leaning against his shoulder, looking down at what he’s doing. He reaches out to grab at some of the papers*
Jennah: *frowns at Ramiel and moves to grip onto his hands. She tries to look into his eyes then slowly shakes her head in order to get the message over to the boy that he shouldn’t touch the papers* No, those are not for you. You’re not old enough to know how to read… *frowns* At least, I don’t think you know how to read yet.
Ramiel: I c’n read. *frowns at Jennah and wiggles his arms, wanting her to let them go* Rrrr… *looks down at the papers and makes a loud frustrated noise, kicking at one of the files with Hojo’s picture on them*
Seph: Hey, watch it!! *frowns* There’s nothing in this box about an angel…
Jennah: Oh, you can read? Alright, let us see then. *pulls out one of the papers that seems not too important then hands it over to Ramiel* You can read this to me, ok? I’m not all that good at reading and can use the help. *gives him a soft grin* ~Hm, well, maybe you are right and it only has to do with his name.. Still, Hojo never gave you any form of nickname aside from “Number 1”. So, it sounds strange that he’d call this boy here an angel.~
