Deizano: *not too far away is a new-recruit mid-sized raptor covered in a layer of dappled feathers, evidence of his baby down still underneath, indicating that he is onlt halfway through his maturation growth into adulthood now. He is supposed to be paying attention to the training exercise at hand, but is currently distracted with snipping his jaws at rodents in the ground. He jams his scythe toe claws into some of the holes and makes loud chirping excited sounds, chattering his teeth and fanning up his feathery head-comb in excitement*
