The male growled at the female when she pushed him. He screeched loudly, toppling backwards, landing in a heap on the mat beside him. He made a loud growling noise and quickly uprighted himself, diving back towards the food bowl. This time he stood at the side of it and began wolfing down the meat as fast as he could, nearly choking a few times.
