Kalysto was nearly done with his robe when Desiree stepped into the room. He had been busy working on straightening it out over himself so that it looked perfect and proper. He pulled the hood up, letting it fall partially over his forehead, obscuring his eyes.
“I’m ready.” He grinned at her. “What took you so long?”
