Kalysto growled in frustration, then charged at the door, giving it an almighty kick. When it didn’t budge, he stepped back and cast a huge incineration magic blast at it, causing the wooden door to spontaneously combust, melting the doorknobs and jam mechanism inside the door’s frame. He stepped over the smouldering ashes left on the ground, then headed into the house, calling out.
“Desiree’s mom!?” He yelled. “Hey, Desiree’s mom… um… come out here! This is serious!”
