Kalysto packed away the card games after Desiree was properly asleep and settled back in his chair, kicking the footrest up, leaning the backrest as far back as it would go. It was like sleeping in an arm-rest recliner, which wasn’t entirely disagreeable. However, no matter how much he shifted about, he couldn’t get comfortable.
