He tilts his head to one side, peering down the hole with a slitted eye, grumbling to himself as he tries to work out where it went. When Kerash approaches he steps back out of her way and lowers his head in a partially submissive gesture. He flattens his feather comb in dissapointment as Kerash stands on his ‘prey’. He then lowers his head and tries to lick at her toes, wanting to eat the crushed rodent underneath*
