He fumbled around the room, following his own instructions. The dry-cleaner’s bag he had gotten for the dress was still in the room, so it was easy to locate and put over the dress. After he had hung it in the closet, he moved over to the bed and lay down, stripping off his suit. “How long until we go…? I need to lie down for just a moment…”
