It’s been much too long

Sorry to anyone who might actually look at this blog, I’ve been a horrible person this past year and been busy with life in one way or another. So, I’ve not had a good chance to post here for a while. If you’re interested, I’ve been playing a lot of MH 4, which entertained me quite a bit for a good long time. In fact, MH 4 still entertains me, for it is a great game. However, I also have a bunch of other games that I want to play for a bit, so I’m working on them for the moment.

Also, these past few months have been filled with a choice to try to take some courses and improve my education. I’ve found that the local community college offers courses in Japanese, so I’ve been indulging myself in those courses. I have every intention of taking each of the courses they offer in the language so that I can come closer to being able to properly understand it. Some people may have noticed that I made very simple sentences in Hiragana on Twitter. Unfortunately, I do not know enough to go much farther than the simple sentences, but there will come a day in which I might be able to listen to raw Japanese without subtitles.

Anyway, as for the reason that I am making this post, I’ve been busy producing livestreams, and I hadn’t put them up on this blog! So, please feel free to check out the recordings after the break.

This unfortunately will contain a few months worth of streams, because I’ve been a horrible person:

So, first up on the catch-up on streams list: Malek and I were able to poke at the Elder Scrolls Online Beta a while back. Not much happened, we weren’t too far into the beta. However, we did poke at it.

Next up, I had a random livestream with some friends as we celebrated the anniversary date of Monster Hunter 3U. A few hijinks followed.

Now, the next three streams in the catch-up list had featured Ragnarok Odyssey Ace. I rather enjoy this game for it’s simplicity. There are things that keep it a bit lesser than Monster Hunter, but it is definitely a fun game to get into and master.

Next, I talked Malek into joining Zero and I in some hijinx on the Transformers game, War for Cybertron. For some strange reason, Zero got in his head that it would be a great idea to go straight to the most difficult setting after not playing the game for an eon. Let’s just say, that turned out to be a very messy decision. There were many deaths. Many, many deaths…

The next set, for some reason, split up into two different segments. I suppose my connection had a hick-up while I was streaming. So, my apologies for that element. Anyway, recently, it was learned that the artist that was behind the design of a beloved cinema monster, the Xenomorph, had died. So, Malek, Zero, and I decided that we should pay some tribute to the man. Arguably, playing one of the worst ALIEN games forever is a horrible tribute. However, we had fun playing it and getting Malek his Ultimate Badass achievement.

Hey, I’m catching up! This one was only two days ago!

Anyway, I am a huge fan of the Drakengard series. It’s just a guilty pleasure of mine. So, I have every intentions of making a little series out of my blind play of Drakengard 3, which only just came out. Unfortunately, the start of it is a bit rocky. I was a bit on the silly side and had missed a set-up step, which left me micless for the start of the stream, and a bit soft-spoken for a good amount of what followed. I have plans on fixing this for the future. However, sorry for the bit of a rough start.

I do hope that people will be interested in watching the blind play through, I can give nearly a 100% certainty that it will contain a lot of deaths as I progress. I never play a game for the first time and not have stupid mistakes and deaths.

And, finally caught up. This was last night’s stream. The new WDP team had been hosting a Well-Done Wednesdays for the past few weeks, and I wanted to finally catch up with them, now that I had a good time to do it. So, we arranged to have a livestream version of their event. It only had two of the three guys on it, but we still had some good times.

Anyway, that is the livestream round-up. Now that I am out of classes, I should be producing content a bit more frequently.
