War Chronicles for 8/17 – Robotsindisguise

We are on to another war here in All Your Base. Unfortunately, we did drop back into Silver, but it should be a quick and easy journey back into gold for us.

So, let’s get this party started and look at what we’re up against tonight!

Base #1

So, easy start for us here tonight. We have a level 8 base to tackle, which should offer little to no difficulty for our caliber of members. If you do need a hint for this base, though, here they are: Going in from the lower left gives the most energy points available for abilities. You can hit the two harvesters then work up to the +3s in front of the base. Also, an AOE attack around the beam will make a decent dent in this base.

Now, gasp everyone, I actually have some of the videos uploaded in time to post them as I post the line-up!

Base #2

Here we have the great lie of our bases. This one is actually not a full level 11 base. As such, do not be scared off by it. Going in from the far right will net you the easiest source of energy points toward abilities,s o aim to start there. Also, the shock tower is out of the way, so don't pay it no heed. Otherwise, there are options for AOE next to the beam and mortar near the bottom of the map.

Base #3

Not much of a difficulty climb for us. This is a level 10 base very similar, though more organized, than the last base. The beam is behind the base here, so you might want to consider sniping it with a flier. The mortars are relatively close, but not close enough to hit all three in one shot. Still, you should be able to hit two with one good AOE attack placed between two mortars. Also, the side choice is about equal either way. So, flip a coin and pick what feels best.

Base #4

This should be a breath of fresh air for many of our members, a level 10 base in the fourth position. Yay for us! We get to take it easy tonight. Left offers a few less guns than right, so might as well go in from the left. Also, there's a prime AOE spot right there up front. I always love it when beams and mortars are touching each other.

Commander

And our final base is a level 11 base. How pretty and simple this base is in comparison to some nightmares we've seen, huh? So, this guy has a bit of interesting design attempts. There's nothing too challenging though. Attacking from the right might make reaching the missile launcher faster. So, I will suggest going in from that direction. The mortars are well spaced, but the beam and missile launcher are touching each other. So, a decent AOE combo will take out both of those elements.

EDIT: All videos now up and available for you to see and examine.

Let’s get back our gold title!
